Podcast Episode #2: Law of Attraction and What It Really Means to Act ‘As If’

Many people misunderstand what law of attraction really is, and believe it encourages people to be delusional…far from it.

The things we want represent certain feelings to us, and in order to get them with the most ease and joy, we have to basically be feelings those feelings now.

We have to believe we can have what we want, and proceed accordingly regardless of the current nature of our experience.

Today’s podcast delves into this topic quite nicely. Enjoy guys and please leave me a comment letting me know your thoughts, challenges and tips regarding acting ‘as if.’

Also, I would appreciate if you could leave me a review on Stitcher if you liked it, here. FYI, you will get an email asking you to confirm you did write the review and that you want it published. Thanks!

  1. Hi KC,

    Loving your energy.

The thing is, this is a huge block for most folks. Results seem like REALITY, but the feelings, the dominant vibe, creates the reality. Good note on subconscious, and how life proceeds according to this god-like part of us. I spend 30 to 60 minutes on waking hitting my mindset hardcore, to detach more and to vibe higher and higher each and every day.

    Fun Podcast KC!

    1. Hey
Glad you liked it. You are so right that we zero in on the end results thinking that is how things are, but that it was preceded by our predominant thoughts, beliefs and feelings.

    1. Thanks so much and I am so glad you liked it. I will keep that in mind about the length…perhaps I will make them a bit longer if I feel like I could add more. Wasn’t sure how long would be too long.

  2. I really, really liked that car analogy, because it established something about the LOA that I’ve been trying to digest and understand very recently. You said that when you go to turn the car left, it goes left, and that describes well the power we have. Everything is responding to us, we can make choices, we have a say. I feel that we doubt the arrival of what we want because we believe the opposite. We think that something else has the control, and that that force can potentially withhold what we want, so we’re worried that we won’t get it, but that’s not how it works.

Thanks for sharing this with us. Again, I took some notes. 🙂

    1. Hey April
I am so glad you found the analogy helpful. It can take a bit for that to really sink in. We get it in theory and something resonates, but actually truly believing it can be more of a gradual process and it’s all good. You are right in thinking that we have a lot of fear that other people and things outside of us will affect outcomes because we are so used to believing that, and since it is such a strong belief that many people hold, there is lots of ‘proof’ that makes it seem true.

  3. Love this episode! (I also use car analogies often lol)

Currently reading about noetic science and it sounds similar to LOA.

Keep inspiring and keep doing what you are doing! 🙂

    1. Hey Dennis
They are good for analogies..lots of good comparisons there. I am so glad you enjoyed it and thanks for your comment. I am not too familiar with noetic science…will have to look that up.

  4. Thanks for the great podcast, I loved the part that we have the guarantee to get what we want by feeling better. It makes those better feeling moments so precious 🙂

I also totally do agree with setting up boundaries. I had the experience recently that people started to gravitate out of my life, but I didn’t feel good among them lately, I didn’t want to participate in the complaining parties anymore.
Now it feels like being in a half-lonely state where old people are not there anymore and the new ones didn’t arrive yet, but it’s temporary too, part of the vibration-cleaning process. And it doesn’t feel bad, it feels free actually, knowing better what I want and how I want to feel.

Again, thanks for sharing, and create more podcasts! 🙂

    1. Hey Krista
So glad you liked it. It really does make them more precious because we realize how powerful they are and the role they are playing in creating our reality. It really is a wonderful thing once the importance of feeling good (or at least better) really and truly starts to sink in. I know that space and it can be uncomfortable. When we experience those changes in our relationships, it can bring up a lot of stuff and make us feel really uncomfortable and unsure of ourselves. You are right that it is temporary and in your higher vibe, people that match that have no choice but to float into your experience. And it is quite possible that things can resume with other people and that the disconnect may only be temporary. Whatever happens though is all good and as long as you are feeling good, you’ll get stuff that feels just like that.

  5. Kelli,
I just found your website and this is what I needed at this point. Thank you! I have to share a funny story about listening to one of your podcasts. I live in what you would call a small town but we call it a city in WV. I kept hearing a rooster and I thought, “Which neighbor has a rooster in the city limits?” (which isn’t allowed). If they have a rooster than I can have a sheep! (I make yarn from wool) Then I realized it was from your podcast. So I guess I’m not getting a sheep today!
    Have a great day!
    Alyce

    1. Hey Alyce
So glad you enjoyed the podcast. That is a very funny story. Lots of roosters here on the property and I just never know when they will start up. Just part of the charm of Bali I suppose. And hopefully one day you’ll get that sheep!
