Podcast #95: Law of Attraction: Does Being Happier and Getting What You Want Feel Unsafe?

wooooow Kelli,
you opened my eyes to something that I wasn’t aware of, I’m afraid of loosing my relationship with my parents if I do what I want. I grew up not having any friends and they were my only true friends and I don’t know if I decide to manifest the relationship to stay the same or even get better will do any help. Do I have to be willing to loose it?
Hi Tina
In a sense, yes there has to be that willingness to accept your parents may not agree or understand your choices. Depending on the energies and fears you need to work through, it is possible that situation would be the best manifestation to help you through it. But this not something that is guaranteed to happen. Or if it were to happen, it doesn’t mean it would be permanent. It seems you have let your parent’s views and your relationship with them dictate your life and your choices to a large degree, which is not uncommon by any means. I sense you are reaching a breaking point where to do what you really want to do, this is something that can no longer continue. It basically comes down to a choice to keep going as you have been or go in a different direction. Either way will be uncomfortable but at least with the latter, you have a better shot at being truly happier. And whatever happens with your parents…you will deal with it in whatever way it needs to be dealt with.
