Podcast #90: Law of Attraction: Breaking the Habit of Living Outside In

Again such an eye opener, thanks a lot Kelli 🙂 I listened to this after having a bad reaction to my business not going well and it reminded me of how things should be easy it even inspired me to create an affirmation picture saying “Everything is supposed to be easy” and make it a background on my laptop (where I spend my whole day) and also on my mobile devices ^ ^
Hi Tina
Thanks for your comment. I love the idea of the affirmation picture–things like that can be great for helping us shift focus and build momentum behind energy that is more in line with the things we want to manifest. As those perspectives start sinking in more, it starts displacing the ‘ick.’
Thanks for the reminder Kelli. I had a blissful week last week, this one not so much and I’ve been wallowing in all the negative feelings. It’s so funny how the mind works, you have one negative thought and you detect it… but instead of letting it be, you start thinking “oh no, I’m going back to the dark place and reversing all I worked for” and obsessing not even over the thought but over HAVING the thought in the first place.
Everything is definitely supposed to be easy. We like to create problems where there are none, frequently, to keep our brains busy or something. But I’ve experienced the “flow” first hand and after manifesting things I had literally written down with a number of criteria (all of which actually checked off). It was liberating, freeing, and just so obvious and easy (after a lot of inner work of course…but that’s the paradox of it all) that it leaves you thinking “…..that was it?” when that was, indeed, it.
Hi Deb
Thanks for your comment and sharing such great insights. I think you described perfectly one of the biggest issues those of us who are trying to be more conscious in shaping our experience face–the resistance to the resistance. Not the feelings or thoughts but our reaction and judgment to them. Without that, these ‘negative’ thoughts and feelings tend to just come and go more quickly. Easy breezy…that’s what I always try to tell myself!
