While I have done lots of different self-improvement-type things over the years that have netted me great results, without a doubt, applying what I learned about LOA has been the primary ingredient in my success.
If you have read any of my posts before, you know I definitely have referenced my personal experience with using law of attraction in hopes it will help others strengthen their manifesting mojo.
I thought a post where I talked more specifically about my own experience applying the principles all in one spot would be helpful. I narrowed it down to the core aspects I think were the most important, and tried to make my point in a way that would keep this post to a decent length! Don’t worry though, as this is certainly not my last word on LOA if you like what I’m throwing down on the topic.
So, for your reading pleasure, here is how I used law of attraction to craft my most desired reality of being able to earn money anywhere so I could travel as long as I wanted, anytime I wanted, a reality I have been living since May 2011.
I’m Okay with Not Understanding How it Works
The basis of law of attraction is simply the beliefs and energy we hold within will attract to us circumstances that reflect said beliefs and energy; whatever we are feeling, we will attract situations that match those feelings.
For most people interested in learning more about LOA, chances are, you are hoping to bring good things into your life, and want to find a more effective way to do this.
That was my motivation, and when I first came across this concept, there was a spark within, and I felt there was some truth to it. But, that spark can quickly be extinguished once our logical minds start analyzing. We think how this could be possible? It just doesn’t make sense; it’s naïve and stupid.
We start thinking of all the bad things that happen, and we mistakenly begin to look at the process of attraction as some sort of punishment, and that is not how it works.
Without a doubt, being okay with not fully understanding every nuance of this concept, or trying to make my logical mind understand it—it can never fully understand because of the limits imposed on us by our ‘humanness’—was a key factor in making LOA work in my favor.
I tried to quiet my mind as best I could, and would just tune into that ‘knowingness’ this stuff was real. I knew that feeling was coming from my unblemished higher self who was not limited by the constraints of the human experience.
I accepted I could never fully know; I realized fully understanding was not necessary. This world of ours is full of mystery and things that cannot be ‘proven’ or explained.
Just go with it. Don’t worry about figuring out the ‘bad’ stuff right now…just focus on using LOA to make your life better, as I imagine that is what piqued your interest in the first place.
This is probably the most important piece of advice I could offer to someone who is interested in exploring LOA further.
Allowed Myself to Want This Life without Having Any Idea How I Would Get It
My work with LOA and personal development in general had a lot of stops and starts throughout the years. When I first came across LOA, I didn’t dive right in; I would have periods where I would consciously work with the process, and others where I would get consumed with all the crap in my life and lose my way.
During one of my first ‘serious’ sessions, I really started to give some real thought to the type of life I wanted. I wrote down everything, without censoring myself. That list included my desire to gain a steady stream of work freelance writing, traveling anytime I wanted for as long as I wanted, going to all sorts of personal development retreats, and a bunch of other stuff.
At the time I was making this list, my life was really not that great; there was nothing in my current experience that would suggest I could make any sort of smooth transition to my more desired reality. My father’s death, financial troubles and various other issues were really weighing on me, and I felt depressed and anxious much of the time.
But, I just focused on the ‘what’ and not the ‘how.’ That is what can really trip us up with LOA. We naturally try to figure everything out, and our puny minds are no match for the Universe and its machinations. There is no way we can possibly figure out the zillion ways the things we want can come together for us.
My first freelance job came courtesy of an urge to visit a website I never visited, and I saw a posting for writers—applied and a few days later, I began what would become a steady source of work for over two years. You just never know.
Over time, things just lined up in ways I could not have anticipated, and before I knew it, I was actually living the way I wanted, and not just planning for it.
I just held the idea in my mind—when it felt good, I would visualize myself in this life. When it didn’t feel good, I didn’t. Just so you know, actually thinking about what you want is not necessary to attract it—it is all about how you feel. Don’t worry, the Universe won’t forget.
I Worked on Feeling Good NOW
Everything we attract is based on how we are feeling in that present moment. So, you know what this means? You can’t wait until your ‘stuff’ arrives to feel better. You have to start feeling good right now to change your experience.
This is a tough one for the ego, who will do its best to justify your feeling shitty, and tell you you’re crazy. It will point out all that is wrong with your life, and make you feel like a loon for feeling anything but badly.
One of my biggest breakthroughs with LOA came while I was traveling and I lost my income overnight. Ryan had some fledgling online stuff, but with any new internet-based venture, income can be very sporadic. So the loss of my income was essentially the loss of all sources of money for us.
This was freaking scary; I panicked and thought I would have to give up my dream life and go back to New Jersey and get a job. Everything in that sentence was awful to me.
Living off credit cards literally, being so broke a five dollar massage was out of reach (I love massages more than life itself so this was really a blow), and walking crazy distances because even spending a few bucks on a taxi seemed indulgent, was depressing to say the least.
I remember at the height of our money problems, we were in Laos, the poorest country in SE Asia. One day I was looking at the maids in our hotel, and thinking these people who probably only make a few dollars a day, have more money in their bank account than I do. Again, super-depressing.
But, you know what? Despite the ‘reality’ of my present moment, I worked on feeling good now. During this time, I did some major shifting of perspective.
I was grateful for the credit cards because they kept a roof over our head, and food in our bellies—this is where I would shift my attention when I started thinking about my mounting debt.
I started focusing more on all the things in my life for which to be grateful, such as having someone like Ryan in my life who ‘got’ this attraction thing, being healthy, the fact I was drawn to this type of stuff and open to using a very powerful tool for improving our lives, and being in an area of the world where things were inexpensive to name a few of the good things.
We weren’t eating a lot, and combined with our marathon walking, we dropped a lot of weight. We weren’t like deathly skinny or anything, but I hadn’t been that light since my vegan days. We would jokingly refer to it as the ‘Broke as Fuck Diet’ Southeast Asia version.
Because I had no work, I had plenty of free time on my hands, and almost all of it was spent working on my mindset.
I would write out a list of things for which I was grateful everyday. I would read about LOA to reinforce these truths—this is very important or else you will never be able to override your old programming. I meditated more frequently. I said affirmations in my head constantly to recondition my thought patterns.
We always have the choice on how to view our circumstances. While feeling badly would have certainly been understandable (and of course I felt this way sometimes), I realized it was not serving me at all. Based on the principles of LOA, I knew I had no option but to feel better; it was non-negotiable.
Realized Feeling Good Is The MOST Important Thing
We are so conditioned to think we must always be taking action to get what we want, and that we must always strive no matter how shitty we feel; we always have to power through no matter what. Now, of course, certain actions are necessary. Sure, sometimes we may not feel so great, and have to work through and get stuff done.
But, guess what? You really don’t have to do as much as you think. How you feel is truly the most important thing, more important than any action you can take. Yeah, people succeed all the time by busting their ass, all the while feeling like crap, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
This is one of those things where letting go of the understanding and just going with it comes particularly in handy. The idea of getting lots of awesome stuff without doing much of anything is not something our logical brains can easily accept.
How you feel will determine the success of any actions—if you do things feeling badly or with lack of clarity about the purpose of said actions, you will not get the results for which you are hoping.
Over the last couple of years, I have managed to hook up with lots of lucrative, long-term freelancing jobs. Three of those jobs were snagged all within the same week, during that intense period of work after my income went away. Since then, I have acquired several others.
Now, most people in this line of work will tell you how competitive it is, how hard it is to find work, how hard it is to find good-paying jobs, and how you usually have to apply to so many postings before landing something.
This hasn’t been my experience at all, and you know why? Because I work on just feeling good and knowing I will get work. For the most part, I only check one job board. This is where all my clients have come from.
Could I get more work if I looked on more and applied for more postings? Sure, probably, but that doesn’t make me feel good, so I don’t do it. My main goal is not to have as many clients as possible and make as much money as possible.
By only taking action that feels good to me, I get what I am looking for with much less effort. I take what is referred to as ‘inspired action.’ Inspired action feels really good. I don’t force things because I know how important it is I feel good, and when I make myself do things and I feel like crap, I know I am moving further away from what I want.
Honestly and truly, the core of mastering LOA is just trying to feel good, and cultivating the energies you believe would come with getting whatever it is you want. It took me a long time to really get this, and once I did, getting good things to come to me has been so much easier.
When I feel crappy, I don’t force things–I do things that make me feel better, like watching a funny movie or show, or simply going to sleep.
Feeling good is what has landed me lots of work without spending much time looking for it; feeling good is what has helped me attract awesome experiences like getting a housesitting job in Fiji. I know feeling good will help create awesome things for my blogging efforts. So long as I keep feeling good, I know I will continue to attract lots of other great stuff.
For the first time in my life, excitement about the future, and never knowing what awaits in a good way, is predominant over the worry, and it’s a good place to be. My work with LOA changed my life, and it can change yours too. You just have to be open to it.

Hi Keli, of a truth the law of attraction is a great way of achieving great fits any day and anytime, it has helped me and my family tremendously till date. thanks for sharing.
Hi Emebu
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment. I am so glad to hear your work with LOA has helped you and your family. It really is amazing what we can achieve when we change our mindset. This world is a mysterious place for sure, and a little bit of faith can really put us in touch with its magic.
Thanks so much for sharing the art of LOA – I have been enjoying the art of this for many years. I love your sense of humour about this subject too and firmly believe we must all stop taking ourselves and our deep work so seriously if we are to truly progress on our path towards fulfillment! Thanks again x
Hi Lisa
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment. I always love hearing from fellow ‘enthusiasts.’ I’m sure you have also seen amazing results in your life from this work .You are right..we do need to lighten up a bit on this path. While there are some serious issues we must often work through to shift our belief system and way of being, it doesn’t always have to be super-serious and full of suffering.
Wow Coop, I’m speechless!!! And intrigued….. Time to get my reading up, it seems like you might be on to something! Seriously, you have officially inspired me to read up and make a change. Miss you on the East Coast, but happy to see you out there enjoying the world!
Hey Candice!
You don’t know how happy it makes me to see someone I know personally commenting on the blog. So glad you liked it! Well, if you are interested in learning more about LOA, I have many posts here. Would also highly recommend the blog of Melody Fletcher at deliberateblog.com–she is a genius with this stuff. That spark to be different is all it takes to make a change, just need to keep it going. I’ll be home at the end of November..happy to get together and discuss. By then, who knows what you will have accomplished!
I would LOVE that! I would say, “I hope all is well,” but I can already see that it is! I can’t wait to see you and pick your brain!!! Miss you, stay safe and see you soon!
Sounds good!
Thank you for such an inspirational post and blog. I have been working on LOA for years and have a natural talent for manifestation but did not know how to focus it. I have just been reapplying principles this week and came across your post, which of course, affirms everything I have been working on. Thanks again for sending such light!
Hi Rosalind
Thanks for stopping by. So glad you liked the post…inspiring is what I was going for. As I referenced in the post, at one point my life was really nothing special, and I managed to create something great, and anyone can do that. Good luck with all your manifestations!
I’m LOA all the way myself, Kelli. Glad to share this “tribe” with you. For me the biggest example of its power was when income slowed at my own consulting firm, so for a few months I worked in San Francisco at a friend’s firm for a regular salary. It was a huge salary doing the same work I’d been doing for my own clients for years, but I was really hating being in the city 4 days a week. So I started listening to LOA recordings on youtube in the background all day. Within a month things totally got shaken up there, and I wound up servicing their clients from home for almost as much as if they were my own clients, and then gradually phasing out work for them all together, with my own consulting practice having picked back up. Even before I knew “LOA” or anything about Abe, I lived similar ideas, which took me to Bali, then NY, then Hawaii. Whatever you call it, the bottom line is, the point of life AND the mechanism of creation are both how we feel. Clarify what it is you want, then focus on feeling the way you want to feel BEFORE the reasons show up in your life to justify the feeling.
Hi Indigo
Thanks for stopping by and sharing that story with me–those concrete examples are one of the best ways to help people get what this is all about, and how it works. That is a perfect example of LOA at play. You said it best…the mechanism of creation is feeling. As that truth seeps deeper into my emotional center, life has gotten so much easier!
A great message to share with everyone. Thanks! So you have been at rock bottom and got up from there. Awesome! An example for others who wonder how LOA works or if it’s real. Thanks Kelli.
Hi Terezia
Thanks for stopping by..so glad you liked the post. Applying what I learned led to so many changes in my life, independent of any conscious decisions I made, so there is definitely something to it. I hope sharing my experience will encourage others to take more control through working on their internal world.
Kelli – I think the thing I love about your blog the most (besides all of the important life loving messages) is the pictures! I think pictures are underrated and therefore underused in blogs – mine included. It really connects you with the reader (me) and is very much appreciated! I feel like you’re my blog bestie! lol
Hi Nikki
Thanks for stopping by and for your kind comment. Thanks about the pictures…I think for my particular blog and the purpose of many of my posts, showing the images is helpful for inspiring others to focus on what they want, whether it is to travel like me or whatever else they are hoping to consciously create in their lives. I really hope my readers do get to truly know me through my pictures and what I share about my life through my posts–the good and the bad!
Hi Kelli,
Your practical tips, pictures and overall message will inspire many potential island hoppers who want to build their dream life by using the law of attraction.
BTW, I think you should brand the BAF diet while you can. Serious income potential there.
People need to know that the breakdown is sometimes necessary when you’re having trust and detachment issues. Once you’re working with a clean slate – aka empty pockets – you are forced to trust, as there’s not much left to attach to, right?
Thanks KC, rocking post.
Tweeting in a bit.
Ryan
Hi Ryan
Perhaps I will get on that…I could be a millionaire! I am glad you liked the post…I was going for that mix of inspiration and practical tips. By sharing my experience, I wanted to give people an idea of how they can apply LOA principles in their everyday life. That can be the tricky part–we read about what we need to do, but how to go about it can be the hard part. You put it perfectly–you are forced into the trust because you have nothing else to fall back on. There were two choices..panic or go into overdrive working on a mindset more conducive to success. Glad we chose the latter!
Kelli,
The law of attraction has been a pretty big part of my life since I first read The Secret six years ago. I’m right there with you on the “feeling good is the most important thing” because one problem I’ve run into in the past with the law of attraction is the temptation to put pressure on things that I’m trying to attract… like somehow trying to attract them made them too precious and you stop feeling good.
Nowadays, I try to open myself up to any possibility and just assume that whatever happens will be for the best. Then I just follow my passions and good stuff almost always happens!
Thanks for this. Talk to you again soon!
BB
Hi Brittany
Thanks for stopping by again. Thanks so much for your comment. I think your issue is what almost everyone faces with the attraction process. We want what we want so much and it can be hard not to feel it absence. We are trying to attract things to make us happier, but we have to find a way to feel happy now. It’s funny because it really is that simple, it’s just not so easy to put into practice. That attitude of whatever happens is good because everything is moving us towards what we want in some way, whether it is a negative manifestation to show us where we still may have blocks, or an ‘almost’ manifestation that shows us where our vibe is at the moment.
I am always amazed when I meet people who can powerfully manifest in their lives. I have always had a knack for this, myself, and feel that the majority of my life is within my control. Why wouldn’t I put positive into the universe when I’m given the choice?
The law of attraction is very powerful indeed!
Hi Lindsay
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to comment. It sounds like you have a great attitude and I am sure you have brought lots of things into your life. That feeling of control is wonderful indeed. When you come across so many people sharing experiences like ours, you know there is something to this. It is my hope that talking about my experience with LOA will intrigue people to give it a go themselves.
Thanks for a wonderful post, Kelli. I really appreciate your straightforward and honest account of your experience with LOA. It’s so doable! And so worth doing! I appreciate your inspiring posts.
Hi Elisabeth
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to comment. I am so glad you liked the post. You know, it really is doable if we are just willing to be a little patient, and not let our logical mind get in the way so much. I have had a lot of success, and though I am still learning, I want to share my experiences in hopes it will inspire other people to really give it a try. Nothing has contributed to my life as it is now more than my work with LOA.
The law of attraction changed my life. Actually, it’s always changed my life.
I didn’t truly understand the concept of the LOA until I watched The Secret. Until then, I thought it was just good luck and hard work. And my mother had always spoke of the LOA but I was a bit of a rebel and told her she was crazy. lol
It’s so easy to find yourself in a negative state, because there are so many people who would LOVE to join you. Misery loves company.
I like how you pointed out that you were thankful for your credit cards because they gave you want you needed at the time. Giving money love was hard for me for sooooo many years. I used to hate having any kind of debt.
But now I see that money is neither negative nor positive. It just is. Money is energy, and we can either attract or it repel it. And I’m loving money today!
Hey Keri
Thanks for stopping by. I know the Secret was a big turning point for people…it’s funny because I didn’t read the Secret until many years after it came out. I had already been ‘doing’ the whole LOA thing. I can’t remember what material first turned me onto it.
You are so right about it being easy to go into a negative state–like you said, you will find no shortage of people who will commiserate with this way of thinking. Our negative thoughts and belief systems have a lot of momentum behind them, and when it is like that, it is very easy to fall back on thoughts that match that vibe.
Adopting that perspective towards my cards was hard at first, and I still felt badly at times, but yeah, overall I took that perspective because it made me feel good. I am sure some of my resistance came from the fact that most people would consider that ‘irresponsible’ and a ‘bad’ thing to do.
My money vibe has gotten a lot better over the years, and I am working on allowing more and more in. I am always so glad to connect with people who also have found success with LOA and see the truth in the concept.
Your story is such an inspiration. There’s no other heaven. Our life itself is a heaven. It’s up to us to make the best of it.
Shaved head in Kovalam? I bet the freedom you have felt for those 2 months was out of this world. We are the master of our life and it’s up to us how we want to live it. You have gone out of your way inspite of a debt to travel and live a life in some of the coolest islands on earth.
When you guys move to a new country after every couple of months, how do you find a place? Do you reach your destination, put up in a hotel and then start finding a place or use a website to book a place in advance for 2-3 months ? I would love to hear your suggestions.
btw.. I am an author and I need a proofreader. I already have one but I need a second set of eyes to go through my manuscripts. Any chance you are accepting proofreading gigs? I write non-fiction, mostly books on business and philosophy.
Hi there
Thanks so much for your kind words..I am so glad you found the story inspirational. Shaving my head was a very freeing experience actually–I just felt a strong urge to do it, and it was a very cleansing experience. As a woman, I think it helped me detach from my appearance a bit.
When it comes to finding places to stay, a lot of times we find houses or apartments on AirBNB or just by searching online and have everything set when we arrive by booking in advance. Depending on where we book, sometimes we need to pay the whole cost when making the reservation (AirBNB for example), sometimes we send a deposit and sometimes we pay when we arrive. Though I know some people who do go, get a hotel for a bit and then look around. Everywhere we have been so far has allowed us to arrange something beforehand so we just do, but we would be open to that as well if we were going somewhere where there was not a lot of information about rentals online but we knew they were available through research.
Well hello Kelli
It is your Irish Buddha Dominic here
I am just catching up on your blog posts as I was finishing my latest novel. So now that all the story is told, the not so fun part is now editing, re-writing some parts if necessary but then I will let the universe do its stuff (sure all I do is from there anyway) So I do hope you get to read this, ah what am I saying I know that you will LOL!!
I loved your blog because it is so honest and i feel that you are talking to me and not at me. I love the fact that you admit that you do not know how the LOA works but you are positive it does and I will confirm this revelation hereunder. (Isn’t that a lovely word -‘hereunder’ lol)
I only heard about LOA last year and it blew me away and oblivious as I was to it it was certainly working away in my life.
In 2005 a friend introduce me to affirmations/visualisations and got me to write down what I wanted in my life and this she stated would come into being with angelic assistance as she was big into angels like Doreen Virtue. Now being a sceptic I was looking at her and thinking to myself ‘Is this woman right in the head and more so am I for listening/doing this stuff’ But despite my reservations I went ahead and did as requested. I placed it in an envelope and just forgot all about it.
Then last year my daughter bought me The Secret and wow I could not believe what I was reading because it reminded me of what my lady friend told me 5 years before. So I scurried to find the envelope and frack I was blown away as almost everything I had written down was surely delivered.
Now in 2005 I was in a dreadful place acting out my part in a real life ‘War of the Roses’ as in the movie but I was always positive even when I engaged in the BIG Fight with ‘mud slinging’ etc etc. However, my friend as stated above, intervened and I wrote down what I wanted to have a house on a hill, re-educate me, write n get published, travel, meet my soul mate, become more spiritually aware and be financially secure to do the things I wanted to do. Kelli, I thought that this was all ‘pie in the sky’ I hadn’t a clue how this could possibly come into being but come into being it did.
I now live in a house on a hill, have a degree in movie production (concentrating on the writing end) travelled to Thailand four times and to The Canary Island twice, have two books published, and I have met my soul mate. This is the honest to God truth and sometimes I just can’t believe it myself but I give thanks every day and boy am I happy!
Kelli, I didn’t do anything to make this happen I just went with the flow and the analogy I use for what occurred with LOA it is like getting a train and the stops along the way are the things that you want n asked for and as they come along the boxes are ticked as it is done. Now when on this journey I didn’t have to concentrate on the next station I just knew that it would come just like my wants and I was thankful when they did but being in a state of almost bliss on the journey.
So all aboard the LOA Express the destination is your decision.
I live in the present and like I said I am happy and grateful for all that I have and now to continue with my life I have intentions to fulfil and I believe that the universe with take me there on my LOA Train hoping that it is an express LOL But then would I enjoy the journey not seeing the beautiful scenery as I would be going too fast LOL.
Anyway I intend to be a best selling author worldwide with having my third book published anon and have my zany TV Comedy produced which in turn will give me my financial security to do the things I want. Then in the distant destination I will write a movie or two with tremendous success. But do you see Kelli, I haven’t a clue HOW this will come about but be sure that it will wow I just love this journey and my train have definitely left the station and I am enjoying the scenery so much.
Thank you sincerely Kelli for your blogs they are such an inspiration for me and everyone who reads them. Just more one thing about LOA – If it did not exist or work I would have never heard of you or seen your blogs thus you are a most welcomed passenger on my train perhaps you are driving it at times LOL
Love, peace n Joy to you Kelli n Ryan
Dominic
Hey Dominic
Great to see you here again. I was wondering if you were maybe working on your book. I am glad my writing comes across that way because I want to just convey my experience, not give the impression I am telling people ‘what to do.’ That is great that even though your friend’s suggestion sounded strange you were open minded and just gave it a whirl, even if didn’t seem to make sense.
I love that story about writing things down..I made a similar list years ago and I recently found it when I was visiting home and like you everything on it came true. It really is amazing. Like you said, we really don’t have to do anything but just feel good. It can be hard sometimes though…we can get preoccupied with what we want and trying to ‘fix’ our faulty mindset.
I have no doubt your book will be a success and your TV show will get produced. You seem to get this stuff on a deeper level, and have been doing everything right. It means so much to hear how much you like the blog..it really makes me feel happy. And you’re right, LOA is real..you finding me proves that!
Thanks you Kelli
Have a wonderful day
Hey Kelli,
What a great post and thank you for sharing your own experience of how the LOA has been working in your life. I’ve had similar experiences as I’ve mentioned in another post on about this topic but I have a question I would love to know the answer to.
You said that a lot of this started showing up because you started to “feel good now”. I think my issue is when people say things like that I’m not exactly sure what they mean. Take for instance, I feel good every single day. Okay, if someone passes away or something tragic happens I have my moments like most people but for the most part I seriously do feel good every single day.
So is that what you mean? I have things showing up in my life so I know it works but I guess when people share certain things that we all need to be doing and I don’t think that I am then my mind starts thinking well “that’s why the big one hasn’t arrived yet”. I’m positive, I’m grateful, I’m thankful and I’m truly blessed. I have my ritual I go through everyday and I truly do feel all of those things.
Is that what you mean by feeling good now? Just curious as you know because we all can improve ourselves and tweak things that may need tweaking.
Thanks Kelli ahead of time for this and eager to hear your response.
Enjoy your weekend.
~Adrienne
Hey Adrienne
Thanks so much…so glad you liked the post.
Essentially, yes, that is exactly what I mean, and it sounds like you are really good at doing that already. When we want to bring something into our lives, we tend to put a lot of focus it not being there yet; we don’t feel good and we think we can’t feel good until we have it. But, if creation is happening in this moment, and we can only receive things to which we are a ‘match’ then we have to feel good right now, we have to feel whole and complete in this moment. The feeling that something is missing will continue a reality where it is still missing.
Whatever feelings we believe what we want would bring us, we have to cultivate them in this moment (as best we can as it is natural we may not feel good all the time). Basically the feeling what we want is already ours and it will come in the best form possible, and I know you had mentioned in another post you have that expectation.
Part of that feeling good is also working from a place of inspired action–feeling good about the steps we are taking, not feeling like we are forcing or trying to manipulate results or determine they must come through a certain channel. That feeling good is also trying to release figuring out ‘how’ we will get what we want. We may have some ideas but it is good to release and know we can’t possibly calculate all the possibilities.
So, yeah, it sounds like you have the ‘feeling good now’ thing nailed down pretty good!
Thank you for this. This is really, really useful. The paragraphs on feeling good now, and focusing on the what and not the how, especially. It’s pretty encouraging to learn about things having not been perfect from the start, but also, I dunno, it just kind of brings home how much the mindset shifts that are involved are a practise, that they come through exercise and develop over time. Which again, is just very encouraging. It means not being there yet isn’t a problem. It’s a process.
Hi Micah
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment. I am glad you found the post helpful. Yeah, things were not always like they were now, and it was a process that unfolded over time. When we first begin working with law of attraction or making any sort of change for that matter, it is important we be patient and practice, like you said. We need to work on intentionally bringing our mind to a better place and over time, it becomes so much easier and more natural. Definitely keep up your inner work, and I am sure you have already made some great strides. Always pay mind to all your ‘victories’ and not just what still has to be done.
