  1. WOW! This podcast came to me at the perfect time! I just found your website recently and I have to tell you, I LOVE it and I love how REAL you are. Today’s podcast really hit home for me. I’m a self help-personal growth junkie and I seem to have this constant feeling that I’m “broken” and need to fix something about myself and pressure myself into being a better person. I have done tons of personal growth work on myself over the past few years and my life has improved a LOT yet the “broken” feeling never seems to go away. I had a bit of a breakdown a couple of weeks ago and confessed to my husband that I think I’ve forgotten how to be carefree and have fun and that just SUCKS ASS! I’ve spent so much time trying to “fix and improve” myself that I just kind of got lost in the whole process. THANK YOU so much for speaking up abut this subject- I REALLY needed to hear it! I have decided to make a commitment now to just chill, relax and try to ENJOY my life again and thanks to you, I now feel like it’s ok and I can give myself permission to focus on getting back to the wild, crazy and fun girl I used to be not so long ago.
Have a beautiful day Kelli, thanks again! 🙂

    1. Hi Tonya
Thanks so much for such a lovely comment. I am so happy you are enjoying my content so much and thank you for sharing your experience. I think it will benefit anyone who reads it tremendously. I can sense a strong energy of ‘relief’ in your words and that you are probably feeling pretty good and light right now. That is great!

  2. I think most folks – old me included – felt a bit far from whole and complete. Enter the obsession with self help. Which is strange for a spirit; feeling it needs plenty of help and work. Keep having fun, doing freeing stuff and doing scary stuff, and as you feel and purge those fears, you release the very source of your personal development obsession. Wise words here. Plus I will never think of crystals the same way again.

    1. Hi Ryan
I like what you said about just focusing on that releasing, and that gets you closer to the real you, which like you said, needs none of these things. But I guess using the things, getting something from them and kind of moving beyond them is all part of the process.

  3. Was exactly in this situation about a month ago. Pared down to a few things that actually felt like fun (like this blog/podcast) and decided to live by the 1% progress a day philosophy – just get 1% better a day, that’s all. In just a month I have made more progress than I have in years. Over the last few weeks some old crap has come up and I did not react in the furious and powerless way I used to. Yeah, it wasn’t easy and I am probably going to be bedridden for a day or so from the sheer energy it took to keep myself as in balance as I did, but damn it felt good to have the situation resolved and seeing how I acted, not reacted. And I am riding high because I am do proud of myself because this was major progress for me. But I feel like something finally purged from me and I definitely have been doing better than 1% a day.

    1. Hi Teal
Thanks so much for your comment and I am certainly flattered my content made the cut…you sound like you were ruthless in paring down! Good for you. I like that incremental goal…that actually leads to faster results since you build actual momentum with those smaller shifts and achievements. Same goes with energy…smaller shifts are real, manifest real evidence, gain confidence and you keep going. Much faster! It is a great feeling to know you have that control over how you respond. That emotional freedom is priceless and in recent times has become my top priority–nothing will stabilize our vibration more than being more conscious in our responses to what happens around us, and keeping calm at that core even if in a particular moment in time on the surface we are having a very human reaction. Thanks so much for sharing your experience…I think this comment adds great value and will benefit anyone who reads it!

    2. You mention being bed-ridden. My inconsistent sleeping patterns concerned me. For the past 3 months, sometimes I need 20 minutes, sometimes, 12-20 hours. As I consciously create and become more aware, my true, higher self tends to kick the s*** out of me. I needed your comment at this very moment, so thanks for sharing. I will continue giving my body what it needs, when it needs it.

  4. Hello,
My question is, I’m struggling to get my business off the ground. I work from home, I love being on my own schedule. My boyfriend pressures me to get a “real” job. So I’ve applied outside the home and I do have bills piling up. But I don’t want to work outside the home. I want to make money working from home.
Should I take an outside job just to get my bills straightened out and please my boyfriend (I live with him in his house and he works like 60hrs a week)
Or should I stay focused and trust?

    1. Hi Lisa
Thanks for your comment and I am sure many people can appreciate your ‘predicament.’ This is a great example of how theory and reality of manifesting don’t always match up. Theory doesn’t account for all the ways other people can affect our vibe and seemingly ‘restrict’ us. Without speaking with you personally and getting more info about your unique circumstances and relationship dynamic, I can only go very general with my advice. Many manifestations unfold over time and have lots of moving parts in that many things factored into the ‘final’ result. In this case, when thinking big picture about your business and life over the long-term,finding ways to earn money in the mean time while our businesses grow, while we learn what we need to learn, etc…isn’t necessarily, automatically mean we are ‘giving up’ on our dream, we don’t have ‘faith,’etc… It simply means we are employing strategies that are helping us accomplish these goals, that may help take the pressure off feeling like you must start making tons of money right away from your business because you have no other options, etc…

There really isn’t any sort of issue of a ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ way to approach the situation. Ultimately, it is about how the choices we are making make us feel, the beliefs and perspectives driving them, etc… Whatever you end up doing, just make sure you feel as good and clear about it as possible.

If you find my work helpful, this is the sort of situation where I think you would really benefit from being able to talk this out one on one so you might consider booking a coaching session. Just wanted to throw that out there. See how that feels to you. Good luck!

  5. A-MAZING! Thank you so much for this! It was exactly what I needed at the perfect time. And made me laugh and feel good 🙌👏💃🏼
