When you first study a teaching like the law of attraction, the process of changing our inner world often looks very different than we think it will. There are challenges we may not anticipate but they are worth it without a doubt.

Podcast #89: Law of Attraction: Why The Easy Way is Sometimes Harder

Hi Kelli. You are so good at explaining all things related to law of attraction. I’ve read all of your books, read your blog, listen to your podcasts and well, I have loved everything! the basis of loa is pretty simple but sometimes being conscious is not so easy. I find myself very conflicted these days on the simplest subjects where before I wouldn’t have been. I question a lot of things… I want to be my own boss and have learned internet marketing and all those things, and even if the courses I took were very heart-centered, and even spiritually oriented, it seems like a LOT of work doing all those social media things, and affiliate this, and mastermind that! And inside me I go, “really?” Some stuff just makes me cringe and something inside me says no way I’m doing ALL that!.. lollll And like you said, we were creators before knowing about loa, and in some aspects of my life I was naturally creating what I wanted… and looking back, those things I created easily because I had no resistance and was feeling confident I would have it and I would naturally visualize myself in the job I wanted and almost got all the jobs I applied for… those I was the most excited about were the ones I got. And I paid back a huge student loan not really thinking about it, it was the easiest money I manifested! Now that I know about loa, I find myself having more conflicting beliefs, exactly like you talked about in your podcast. Hey! I feel less alone in this now!! lolll. I hope my comment is not too long or unclear (I speak French and rarely write in English). I don’t always comment but I love your material! thanks for your work.
Hi Caroline
Thanks so much for your comment and I am so glad you find my content so helpful. You are so right that we have always been creating and the examples from your own life show that the lack of resistance and not so much ‘focus’ on the lack are really key in the creation process as you weren’t consciously ‘working’ to manifest any of those things. With the business, just focus on doing what feels fun and resonant, and you will discover the strategies that work best for you. Your comment was very clear and your English is excellent so no worries!
Incredibly clarifying. Thank you.
You are very welcome Matt!
Thank you for this amazing lesson. I’ve been zooming along and feeling like a magical creator, then was floored last night when I found myself throwing a bitch fit over not having enough counter space as I tried to make my curry. LOL! I’m so happy I found you! I looked for you because I wondered if I was missing something in my practice, and it turns out it is YOU!
Hi Katie
Thanks for your comment and I am glad you enjoyed it. I have had (and still have) those freak outs too–I have gotten better at laughing at myself and catching the ‘ridiculousness’ of my reactions. That allows me to have the moment still but get out of it more quickly. I hope I can continue to be a source of helpful guidance for you.
