Learning about the law of attraction can be a double-edged sword–it has the power to completely transform your life, but our mind can’t quite make sense of it, and it really interferes with the process of allowing the reality you desire to make its way to you.
But know that learning about it can never be a bad thing, never, ever, ever. If you have reached a point where you feel really frustrated and feel like totally giving up on this whole manifesting thing, this podcast is for you.
I am happy to have my husband Ryan on here with me, and he offers some great insights that will be super-helpful. You can find him over at BloggingfromParadise.com–he has actually written some books on the law of attraction and other personal development topics and you can find them on there–great, easy reads.
Also, I wanted to announce that I will be starting a teleclass series called Manifesting Like a Mofo and the first class will be taking place on October 18th at 3 PM EST titled LOA 101: Nailing Down the Basics.
This will be a great listen for anyone, even those who already ‘know’ how the LOA works because there is a good chance you are operating under some misconceptions that may be frustrating your efforts.
Not only will I be chatting you up, I’ll be helping you clear out gunk and get some energy moving in the right direction.
Registration will be available in the next couple of days, and recordings will be sent to everyone who signs up so no worries if you can’t make it live.
Hope you enjoy the podcast, and I would really appreciate if anyone with iTunes could take a moment to leave me a review.
Happy manifesting!

Had a super fun time chatting about giving up today. Thanks for asking me to gab.

Hi Kelli and Ryan,
This is such an important podcast. I’ve listened to it 4 times now.
To give up is a concept most of us wouldn’t consider. I’m one of those, I don’t give up. I’m a go-getter. The idea of giving up is a painful one.
To be told to give up is an okay “thing” is something us LOA folks need to hear. Oddly enough I’ve found myself in this state since the last couple of days. I managed to manifest 3 rounds of illness and I’m still really sick now. I had to keep asking myself, why? What is this hear to teach me? Why am I manifesting one round after another of being really sick? I realized that I’m so sick that I don’t have the energy to do anything, and it’s okay. It’s okay to let it all go. It’s okay to feel the relief of “giving up”. This state feels sort of empty, but neutral. Not in a bad way. This is a really new feeling for me. It’s gone from apathy to straight full on neutrality. It’s weird, I’m not used to it. But it feels right. Nothing is “spiking” resistance wise on anything I’m wanting which is again, weird.
Thank you for the reminder of the concept of “wanting”. Wanting perpetuates more wanting. Frustrating.
I love the idea of just being who you really are, and sit with it. Make IT enough. Focus on the whole and completeness of who you are. I really need to sit with this more. It feels right.
I’m excited to play in this new space and experiment with it. Thank you both for such helpful insights and sharing your personal experiences.
Hey Corin
I am so glad you are finding the podcast so helpful. It really is an important topic that can totally change our approach to this ‘work.’ I think you answered your own question with why you got sick…it is forcing you into that space of surrender and doing less. Most of us dont’ heed the earlier signals and things build up to a point where we manifest these bigger situations that leave us no choice but to reexamine and make the necessary changes. It is a great space to be in…an uncomfortable one for sure, but it gives us the perfect opportunity to see that the ‘wanting’ is not what creates and as we begin to manifest some ‘proof’ our mind accepts it a bit more and it gets easier to detach.
Hi Kelli,
I loved this podcast! It’s actually the first time I’m visiting your blog but I signed up and will continue to tune in, for sure.
To me, tour podcast is like an easy to stomach, not so complicated version of Brandon Bays “Journey” method, of surrendering and giving up the resistance…
The way I often think about “giving up” is that you actually move your subconcious’ focus from the resisting, negative beliefs that are in play, working against you when you try to manifest… and then they don’t “stand in your way” and things, as you said, just start happening…
I think detachment and giving up are 2 of the most “hush hush” LOA topics out there, and for no real good reason. It’s just another stepping stone 🙂 Thank you for shedding more light on this subject, it was refreshing to hear your perspective!
Hi Noa
Thanks so much for your comment and I am so glad you enjoyed the podcast…I really love doing them and getting that positive feedback is nice…I have an ego too 😉 I like how you defined ‘giving up’–I think you brought up a lot of excellent points. It isn’t about giving up on getting the good stuff, it is giving up all that is standing in the way, namely the desperate wanting.
