Podcast #56: Law of Attraction: The Role of Surrender in Manifesting

The law of attraction is often touted as a teaching to help you ‘control’ your reality. That’s kind of true but kind of not true. The concept of surrender seems to be at odds with conscious creation, but the way I see it, it fits quite nicely and this energy can make for easier manifesting.

Today I chat all about surrender and manifesting with my husband Ryan, who as many of you may know, is quite the skilled manifestor himself and has awesome insights to share. Enjoy.

Embedding the player in the post doesn’t seem to be working(at least it isn’t showing up for me even though the code is there.) Maybe some of you are seeing it. But in case you aren’t either, the below link will take you to the recording.

  1. Such a great post from you both and exactly what I needed to hear to help get me back on track. Surrendering has definitely helped me before and I fully believe in it, but lately I’ve been having trouble surrendering, and having more “fun” as you guys mentioned. If I have a job that sucks the energy out of me (I work overnight, and sleep during the day, so Its hard to have a life) how can I work on having more “fun” and surrendering what I want and trusting that it will come? My job makes it hard to plan things, or even see some of my friends and family/meet new people, in addition to that I don’t ever have the feeling or drive that I should start following my passions, so energetically I feel in a slump. Do you have advice on getting back on track in that space of feeling good, where I can then surrender to getting my “stuff”?

    1. Hey Natalie
Thanks so much for your comment…I am so glad you enjoyed the podcast and found it helpful. I think you asked some really great questions that would make for a great blog post about dealing with that energetic slump as you called it–great way to describe it. Stay tuned.

  2. Nice energy between you two 😉 You should do it more often. Are transcripts of podcasts really hard to do? If it isn’t too much of pita it would be great to have your podcasts in writing.

    1. Hi Jon
Thanks so much for your comment. I am so glad you enjoyed it. I usually record my podcasts ‘on the fly’ shortly before I publish them. Having someone transcribe them could be a possibility if I did record them ahead of time. That could be something to think about. Thanks!
