Dear Kelli, I am only halfway through listening to your podcast because I have things I need to do today, but I could not move on until I let you know that there is much love out here for you. My prayers, as well I am sure those of many others, are with you. Thank you for walking your talk and continuing to produce content in the middle of these difficult times. I, too am not so advanced in years but had to go through losing my parents who were my two best friends. Even so, I can see the perfection in the timing of everything despite the grief and pain. Divine Right Order. I know, believe me, I know. Whatever the outcome, you will be even more awesome. Blessings.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It is something most of us have to deal with at some point but we just hope it comes later than sooner, on that human level at least. I agree about the perfection and timing completely!
Good afternoon Kelli.
I watched an interview with a NASA astronaut. He said that we should take, not a global approach to this (as that’s mainly an economic approach) but a planetary approach (as that’s humanity as a whole approach).
LOA seems to come into play. I messaged a friend a day or so ago to see how she and her family were going. Today, while walking my dog, I saw her on my walk and we got to chat….social distancing in play. That made me so very happy.
Think it’s just appreciating and being grateful for the little things now.
Living in Australia, things appear calmer than most of the rest of the world. Our government locked us down hard and quickly. Aussies also seem to be very, very compliant and the curve is flattening very well. But we’ve been through destructive summer fires and floods, so it’s like there’s been no break from disasters.
Planetary approach seems to be the way forward.
Hi Joanne
Thank you so much for your comment and I totally agree with his perspective. I think that like in an individual’s life, the collective experiences ‘bad’ things and then sees that a new way has to be forged moving forward. Feeling gratitude in a true way is something a lot of people can tap into more easily now since they are personally being affected in some way and the struggles others may be having don’t seem so far-fetched in their own lives and they can actually envision having those problems. that they don’t allows for that gratitude on an emotional level, not just intellectual, which doesn’t do much.
