Hi Kelli. I have been noticing a lot of awesome energy building in my life. It feels like I am juuuust on the verge of something. But I’ve been feeling that way for over a year. I always feel like I’m just on the edge of something huge and awesome happening, and then nothing amazing happens. I mean, I feel happier for a while, maybe more content, but nothing changes… basically I don’t get the “stuff” that I think I want. Am I missing something? Do I need to let go of this energy somehow, or pay more attention to signs from the universe? I’m sure I’m probably too attached to my “stuff”.
Thanks! MJ
The ‘Problem’ With Excitement
Notice the quotations used. I don’t want to apply any sort of judgment here. It’s not a true ‘problem’ as in you are doing something wrong. But in most cases, our excitement isn’t pure excitement as in ‘I know the Universe has my back and I am supposed to manifest totally awesome things by nature.’
Our excitement is usually a bit ‘tainted’ with a variety of energies, like desperation, hope something unwanted will be transforming soon, attachment to specific channels through which our manifestation may come, etc…
We are doing all our manifesting ‘work’ and waiting for some sort of payoff, some sort of ‘proof’ it is working and that we do in fact create our own reality.
If we truly bought into a teaching like the law of attraction 1000 percent, if we fully bought into our true nature and our capabilities, there wouldn’t be too much to get ‘excited’ about. Anything we were looking to manifest would feel totally natural, and like the next step.
None of it would feel like a big deal. We wouldn’t be eagerly anticipating anything because we know it is coming without a doubt.
But the reality is we don’t buy in totally–we all have minds after all, we all have conditioning that runs very contrary to this sort of teaching; certain things do seem like a big deal because energetically, we may have a ways to go to get in alignment with them, and our past and current experience do not exactly provide much ‘evidence’ these things are possible.
We will get excited about things. While a life of total emotional neutrality would certainly cut down on all the suffering we experience due to the never-ending cycle of craving and aversion, most of us would find that sort of existence kind of boring and unsatisfying.
Most of us probably wouldn’t have the time or inclination to expend the sort of effort required to achieve a perfectly balanced mind. The idea of not wanting anything is pretty uncomfortable, and I imagine most of us aren’t looking to totally withdraw from a worldly life.
‘Amazing’ Might Not Fall Right Into Our Laps
In most cases, the things we want manifest in a progression. Now, don’t get me wrong–totally awesome things can happen at any moment. A perfect vibration and total trust every waking moment is not a requirement for the really big, mind-blowing stuff to happen.
But in many cases, there may be some stuff that transpires between the present moment, where our energy might be a bit screwy and needs some tweaks, and ‘amazing.’ We experience ‘stepping stone’ manifestations that show us our energy is aligning. They may not be super-sexy or exciting manifestations.
Our mind really doesn’t anticipate this though, and we do all our ‘work’ feeling good trying to manifest stuff we want, and when these big, super-exciting manifestations don’t make themselves known sooner than later, it gets harder to maintain our energetic ‘hard-ons’ if you will. The ‘stepping stones’ depending on exactly what they are, may give a boost here and there but it tends to be short-lived.
We are very accustomed to living outside in, and that is a habit that dies hard. When your mind isn’t being given ‘reasons’ to feel happy, it won’t be. We are not really working on being happier for the sake of being happier (which is all we want anyway) but as a means to an end. We are doing it to get something.
And this is okay; it just is what it is. We don’t like certain things in our life now, and we have a preference for different experiences and circumstances. It’s okay we want something different and it’s okay our motives for getting happier aren’t so ‘pure.’
Another reason the ‘amazing’ manifestations may not be showing up is most of us are usually manifesting from a space of trying to minimize pain and discomfort; we are in ‘fix it’ mode. And there really isn’t anything wrong with that but it will be a very different journey.
We are really struggling with money and want to improve our finances; we are lonely and want a relationship. We don’t like our job and we want a new one. Our life is just generally crappy and we are hoping for some better stuff to show up.
We are really resisting our current reality and we want something to show up to take away those bad feelings.
And again, nothing wrong with this. But manifesting from this space might not lend itself to the ‘amazing’ manifestations.
What tends materialize is really different than what does from the space of true openness to what shows up, being happy just for the sake of being happy, feeling whole and complete now, being detached, not insisting your mind knows best what you want, surrendering the need to control, and all that jazz.
Intellectually you understand it’s all the same to the Universe, and you can manifest the ‘big’ things as easily as the ‘little’ things. You set intentions to let the most awesome things in, but what is happening energetically, and what you are really focusing on, is usually very different.
You want to allow in large amounts of money, but what your mind is really wanting to attract is just enough to cover your bills. You want to manifest your soulmate, but what your mind really wants is just someone to fill the void, to ease the pain of your loneliness, and its standards are none too high.
You want to manifest your dream job, but what your mind is really focusing in on is any opportunity that will allow you to quit your current job that you hate.
We tend to still be really focused on our current reality and all that we are unhappy with now.
Our energy isn’t expansive enough for ‘amazing.’
Stop Waiting for a ‘Reason’ To Feel Better
Again, we are very used to our feelings being determined by what is happening outside us. Our emotions go up and down, all around, all over the place, as we are constantly reacting to our external environment. Like MJ said, she is feeling really good but then nothing happens so then the warm fuzzies don’t remain.
And as a fellow human who has always done this, and still continues to do this, I totally get it. Our mind is very adept at judging our reality, and our experiences, and labeling things as ‘good’ and ‘bad.’
We have preferences, and it’s okay to want different things, and to not want other things to happen. I had periods where I really struggled financially and I didn’t like it. I much prefer the reality where I have a much improved relationship with money. I struggled with a really scary health issue once, and certainly prefer a clean bill of health.
Our natural state is supposed to be one of health, happiness and prosperity, and to want to achieve that is totally understandable; that is something we should be ‘working’ on.
But that doesn’t change the fact we don’t have to let outside circumstances determine how we feel, that we can’t wait for something to happen first before we let ourselves be happier, feel better.
You don’t have to get manically joyful in the midst of turmoil or some great challenge in your life, but you can choose to not focus on those things so much, or use them as an excuse to be miserable. You can choose to look beyond those things, and zero in on the reality you prefer, acknowledge the truth and reject the illusion.
You get to have your reactions, and feel your feelings without a doubt, but you don’t have to remain stuck in them for prolonged periods. You get to have your moments of feeling frustrated things aren’t changing in the ways you would like them to, but then you can shake it off.
You get to have your moments of feeling really attached to certain things happening and buying into your mind’s insistence you can’t possibly be happy without them; but then you can move back to the truth of knowing the absence of this thing isn’t the problem but the meaning assigned to it,–you’re not good enough, etc…– and the true solution to your problem is healing whatever that ‘stuff’ is.
The misconceptions about a teaching like the law of attraction can be very detrimental to our well-being and hinder our natural manifesting capabilities. We get the impression we can control everything around us.
We are led to believe if we just ‘want’ something enough, if we do enough ‘work’ on our energy, if we affirm enough or visualize enough, we can get our ‘stuff.’ Our mind attaches to very specific manifestations believing it has some sort of power to make those very things happen, and when they don’t seem to be happening, it doesn’t feel very good.
Like I mentioned before, your mind views positive emotion as something is must cultivate in order to make something happen. It is a tool, a means to an end, when it should be the goal in and of itself. It’s like we don’t actually care about being truly happier, we just care about getting what we want, and that is just something we ‘must’ do to get it.
We get the impression we must be relentlessly positive and can’t entertain nary a negative thought or feeling lest we won’t get our ‘stuff.’ But we feel really badly about not having said ‘stuff’ and instead of diving into that, and working on transforming it in a meaningful way, we just ‘try’ even harder to manifest what we want because we view it as the solution to feeling better, to making all that stuff go away.
And this creates even more attachment to the ‘thing’ and more strongly solidifies your mind’s faulty argument that you need this thing to be happy, that you can’t feel better without it.
You get to want whatever you want; there is no reason not to have it. Being happier now without it, won’t cancel the ‘order.’ The Universe is responding to your energy, it is not responding to what you ‘want.’ It is not responding to your desperate pleas or constant asking or focus.
If that was the case, we would all get what we want automatically without having to do any sort of shifting in the energy department; we could be as miserable as we want all the live long day and we would still get whatever we wanted simply because we asked for it and were thinking about it all the time.
And I imagine most of you have figured out that it really doesn’t happen that way.
No matter what is happening now, I am sure there is the ability to make even a small shift in your overall state of mind and feeling state. Again, don’t have to reach for total bliss, but even just a little better is certainly possible.
Instead of seeing all that is ‘wrong’ or ‘missing’ in your life, focus on what’s there now that’s good. I am sure there is at least something. Appreciation is a powerful energy, and the more you cultivate, the more you will attract of which to feel appreciative.
Maybe you don’t like your job, but you have a great relationship. Maybe you are a bit lonely, but you have a great job. Maybe you’re not loving your job but it pays really well, and it’s nice to be financially comfortable.
Maybe you are lonely and want a relationship, but you have great friends and lots of hobbies you really enjoy. You see where I’m going with this.
And again, as a fellow human, I know what your mind is probably doing. It is thinking this is stupid. One aspect of your life has nothing to do with the other, so who cares about that good stuff?
Like so many other core foundations of having a happier life, being appreciative of what you already have is so cliche it has lost all meaning, and is dismissed with an eyeroll. We have ‘heard it all before’ and are waiting for some sort of ‘new’ information to aid our growth and help us get out ‘stuff.’
The thing that’s missing makes you feel badly, and that is where all your attention needs to be. You get to be unhappy; you SHOULD be unhappy, and can’t be anything else until something changes.
And as someone with free will who can choose how you feel ,and how you get to view life, you can totally take this tack. Your mind’s arguments for moving about life in this way is highly persuasive and it makes some great points. You can choose to agree for sure.
But realize in doing this, you are making a conscious choice–this unhappiness is not being foisted upon you without your consent.
You’re Always On the Verge
We are here to create. We are all creating in every moment, in our individual lives, and on a grander scale of humanity as a whole. You are always on the verge of something awesome–you can’t help but be if your energy game is ‘tight.’
But we have to exercise a bit of patience as we may not always be in alignment with the things we would like to see in our lives. We have to learn to be in the moment, in the now, not always looking to the future, eagerly anticipating some sort of change.
We have to be open to how the ‘awesome’ shows up; we have to be open to the fact the specific things and PEOPLE our mind wants may not be the best representation of what we truly desire, which is a certain type of feeling.
We have to stop thinking because the exact things our mind wants are not manifesting, that something must have gone wrong; we have to start recognizing the true nature of our control–our energy, not the ability to make anything outside of us happen in any specific way.
We have to let go of the need to control everything; we have to let go of the attachment, expectations and judgment, and surrender to the process.
We get to want whatever we want, and again, no reason not to have it, but must realize the ‘wanting’ is really not part of the equation.
We must choose not to put our happiness on hold until some point in the future when things are ‘better.’ There is no future, only a series of present moments, and NOW is the only time you have to cultivate a different energy. The energy of ‘now’ will impact the energy of the ‘nows’ to come. The present moment and how you feel in that moment is the true point of power.
That doesn’t mean feeling pressure to feel ‘good’ every moment. That isn’t necessary. There is a big difference between feeling your feelings, and acknowledging your resistance, in the context of healing and transformation, and just feeling badly, and feeling sorry for yourself, all the while maintaining a very sour outlook on life.
Whatever energy you are cultivating has to come back to you in some way, in the form of your manifestations; it can’t work any other way. We just need to work on cultivating that energy more from a space of it being its own reward, not as a means to an end.
We have to be open to how that energy manifests, and accept it might not be on our preferred time table, or through the particular opportunity, experience or PERSON on which our mind has set its sights.
You always get to have what you want, but you must realize what you truly want is to feel a certain way, and that is a choice available to you at any time. And again, your reality will have no choice but to mirror back that energy to you, and your experience will be full of stuff that makes you happy.
Your Turn
What did you think of the post? Anything resonate in particular? Looking forward to your comments as always.

[ Smiles ] I love the part about stop waiting for a reason to feel better.
We might as well fell better “Now” since emotions play a vital role in the Law of Attraction!
Exactly Renard! Heck all humans really just want to be happy. So why be conditional about it? Took me a while to finally decide to just be happy 🙂
Hi Renard
Thanks for your comment and you are right…all we have is now!
Hey Kelli,
Again an amazing read thank you so much for the constant reminders. This sentence is gold dust “acknowledge the truth and reject the illusion”. Its so easy to forget the truth in a moment through the hustle and bustle of life. The illusion is powerful but we are more powerful & our feelings don’t lie.
Its just a matter of reminding ourselves whats real and whats not. The false persona of our reality is so deeply ingrained that we get swayed by it easily. However the longer we chip away at the interior of our feelings the easier it all becomes.
Its hard to keep on top of your feelings when our reality surrounds us with “evidence” against what we are trying to manifest. To keep reminding yourself constantly we can saturate our life’s with things that trigger us to stay on top of our game so to speak.
As you mentioned above one of the best ways to do this is to narrow our focus on what we want and the better/happier feelings in the now.
Take care love to you & ryan
Zaira
Hi Zaira
Thanks for your comment and I am glad you enjoyed the post. It is easy to do that–our mind has its grooves and habitual thought patterns; we get so caught up in day to day living and we can go on auto-pilot just reacting to what is around us, and thinking what we see is true.
Great article! I definately agree. MJ is basically being a “conditional” manifestor. We have all been there. And like you said, nothing manifests if you are not ENJOYING the journey towards the manifestation. This means enjoying your current reality no matter what, because you expect and know that the universe will answer, no matter what. The best thing to do and what I have been doing is relaxing! Because I am confident that even though I cannot physically see my manifestation, it already exsists vibrationally because I have done the work. And the only work to do is… Ask, Visualize, Expect and RELAX!!! Choose to feel good anyway without noticing the abscence of what you want and it will come. :).
Hi DF
Thanks for your comment and you are right…we have ALL been there and probably will be there many more times in the future! I like what you said about relaxing. Everything is always okay even if it doesn’t seem like it, and even acknowledging that in the smallest degree can make a big difference.
Hey Kelli,
What happens when we’re convinced our vibrations have been too high to be in the reality we’re in right now? Its fair on a lot of guru’s to ask ‘where are you in your life right now? thats an exact indication of your thoughts and feelings’ Well thats not true, as this article begins, Ive been on that ‘something magnificent is going to happen to me any second’ vibe for MONTHS now, and step by step it’s getting visible, the lack of response from ‘the universe’
I can’t explain but theres this resistance building up towards the universe, where I feel like saying ‘I dont want you in my life anymore, please go, please leave me’
But then again, every stupid thought that I think Im aware of whats going to happen and it’s a strange loop, that we ask, we believe, we don’t receive, the second we question not receiving (according to the law apparently) we won’t receive because the universe confuses our vibration. How do you deal with this stuff with ever-bearing faith? Ive completely stopped blaming a thing outside myself for my circumstances, but I feel like the universe deserves the blame. I thought the universe was supposed to be like a parent, not an unbiased piece of technology that operates in connection with the way you interact with it.
I hope you picked up on what I’m trying to get at and I’m really looking forward to your response
ps- I thought the LOA was something we use to achieve greatness, not go from shit life to a non-shit life
Hi Ishan
There is only so much I can address in a comment but here are a few thoughts. 1. We are often in denial about our true vibration and state of mind. We claim we are feeling good and we may be, but not as good as we think. We have our resistance but we don’t acknowledge it out of fear of being ‘negative.’ The nature of your comment and the energy I am picking up on is not a match for the claims you are making for your state of mind and feeling and I don’t think your energy is what you are saying it is. 2. Just because certain things aren’t happening your mind wants or aren’t ‘magnificent’ enough according to its standards, doesn’t mean nothing is happening or something went wrong. You are likely manifesting good things but they aren’t ‘good enough’ or what your mind wants specifically so they are being dismissed. 3. It sounds like you aren’t viewing the LOA as a sort of ‘co-creation’ between the Universe and yourself but a system where you ask for things and expect them to be given to you and if they aren’t coming, it is because the Universe doesn’t want to ‘give’ them to you–it really doesn’t work that way. You are still not taking full responsibility for your life if you are thinking of blaming the Universe for your situation. 4. We don’t ‘use’ the LOA, it is not a tool. And as far as what we create in our life, how big and bold our vision is varies from person to person. Some people just want a nice, pleasant life while others want to dive into the mysteries of the Universe full-bore and create very big things. One isn’t better than the other. The point is to have a happier life, and live out what you value most, and that is different for everyone. The key is not letting our ego determine what we want because its desires are often coming from a screwy energy–for example, wanting to be successful to prove something to others or make feelings of inferiority go away.
Hey Kelli, awesome post as always. A couple of hours after reading your post today I felt inspired to search up a bit of Abraham Hicks material (I believe you may know who that is). I’ve read some of their books and love searching up videos on YouTube. Anyway, I felt inspired look them up after reading your post, as I mentioned.
You see a few months back I recognized I was going through a release phase where I would deal with any feelings that would come up and just let them go therefore changing my point of attraction. I started to notice my vibration increasing and the shifts in my being as a result. I started to manifest some very nice things indeed. However, the good feeling from these manifestations wouldn’t last and I’d notice the moment I’d go back to an old habit of putting my focus on the “absence” of any of these awesome things I’d feel a major contrast in my experience.
In other words, the “bad” feelings felt even shittier than they did before. And that would make me feel very frustrated even more so than before, because if I’ve been able to raise my vibration and feel better overall, why was I still experiencing such heavy “negative” feelings even after I’d just manifested such awesome things? And how could these negative feelings feel even worse than they did before? Hadnt my release phase helped to get rid of these energies? I had been really struggling with this for the past few weeks. Well, your post and Abraham helped me realize the answer. In the audio I just heard a lady was expressing to Abraham how she has been feeling much happier in her life and yet the contrast was still feeling very powerful and she did not understand why. So Abe said, “it’s the same principle as going 100 miles per hour and crashing into a tree, you have a bigger problem then if you were going 5 mph and crashed into a tree. You are going faster now so falling off your disc now feels worse.”
In other words her high vibration now meant that her focusing on the absence of the wanted felt worse than when she had a lower vibration and focused on the absence of her desired manifestation. But it only feels that bad “if we go there” says Abe, if we focus on the absence of what we want because as our vibration is higher the dissonance between the desire and the undesired is much more noticeable now, much like the difference of going 5mph and crashing into a tree than going 100 mph and crashing into a tree. This was a very profound revelation for me. I notice a lot of readers expressing how they do feel like they’ve made progress with their vibration and feeling happier but things either feel worse when they don’t manifest certain things or they feel like they’re stuck in an endless same reality loop.
Maybe this can help them. I know it’s helped me to realize that because I’m going at a faster speed and actually experience the things I desire, when I fall off my happy disc because I lose focus from the desire or manifestation towards the thing I do not want, it hurts more. That is very comforting to know, maybe it will inspire a post from you on how to polish our focus in a way that helps us to keep it on the wanted more often. Either way excellent post and thank you so much for all your help and your work. All the best always!
Hi Lin
Thanks for this wonderful insight and it is very relevant to the post topic. As we start becoming more aware of our resistance it certainly can feel stronger, especially if we are feeling better since there is a greater disconnect there. Loved this!
I swear your posts are directly aimed at me sometimes, Kelli. This one in particular. I’ve been going through a kind of “blah” time lately, but I’ve tried to not let it bother me too much. I’ve been trying to simply do what feels right to me, whether that’s just reading a fiction book (one of my passions and comforts), taking a hot bath or meditating.
I’ve been having trouble meditating lately, my mind was restless and all over the place. But today, in the middle of your post, I felt inspired to try again. So I stopped and meditated for a good twenty minutes, and voila, I was focused and feeling much better. I felt at peace and that higher energy filling me again, and I realized I’ve been focused on the outside more than the inside. I’ve also been too attached to what I want to manifest. I need to let that go and trust that everything is coming as it is supposed to come. The Universe knows only perfect timing.
Thanks again for this fabulous post. I’ve been manifesting help in the form of connections to you and Ryan, Rikka Zimmerman, Angela Strank, and Abraham Hicks, so the Universe is definitely answering me. When I feel the tug of the outer world and my need to “see” my manifestations sooner rather than later, I’ll hopefully remember that everything is about going inside and feeling better, calmer and happier now. Also, I’ll remember that the Universe IS answering me if I’ll just open my eyes enough to see it.
What a blessing!
Hi Jeannie
Thanks for your comment and I am so glad you found it helpful. I am a huge fan of meditation–not always easy but it has been a life-changer for me. Your attachment and outside in living is something we all go through so don’t beat yourself up. Our mind just does that but the more you tune into what you are really after, the more ways you start seeing to create it now and the attachment wanes. I am a big fan of Rikka–she is a very special person. It really is a blessing
Hey Kelli, great post once again. A little hard for me to accept these truths but helpful nonetheless.
One thing you mentioned that I have been thinking about a lot is the idea of our minds not really being ready to “dream big,” and only wanting to escape our current shit. In my energy “work”, I notice I am sometimes able to feel what it’s like to have a much higher vibration than I usually have in day to day life. This is a really trusting and pleasant feeling, even if it’s only temporary. The thing is, I feel like I become aware of how high my vibration *could* be, and how the feeling my mind has it’s sights set on most of the time is not even the best feeling out there. A related thought pattern is not knowing whether I should orient myself towards a high vibration that is more physically energized, child-like, and exciting, versus a high vibration that is more peaceful and indifferent. If simple pain-minimization is not the vibration we should be aiming for, how do we know what kind of vibration we should be going for? Hope this was clear. I have a feeling my mind played too big of a role in asking this question, but I’ll let you be the judge of that 😉 all the best.
Hi Matt
Yes your mind was definitely at play there 😉 Get used to it…it ain’t going anywhere! I think this would make an excellent blog post. Probably this week’s–stay tuned!
In my opinion the law of attraction generates the energy necessary for action, but without movement, nothing happens.
I think you make a great point. Many of the things we want will require some ‘core’ actions on our part to get the ball rolling. If you want to own your own business, you’re going to have to start that business at some point. We have to learn to establish the difference between allowing our energy to create for us in the way it can and just sitting around waiting for the Universe to ‘do’ something for us. That can take some trial and error. Thanks for your comment!
Hi Kelli,
I came across your ‘signs what you want is on its way’ post from 2015 just a few days ago and I took it as a sign that things were going my way. I understood most of what you said and it sounded believable. Just as I was thinking my chronic stomach condition was miraculously getting better, I had an off day today and I am a little anxious whether I’ll feel good again – though what I was manifesting was not focused on my stomach but on feeling good about some life/career decisions I want to take. So going by what you said in that post (comments are closed there), should I continue to hope for the best, keep looking, waiting, and do the best I can to keep a clear stomach?
Also, I keep thinking about someone from the distant past rather obsessively for the last few weeks – I am not interested in doing anything about it, we didn’t have much to do with each other except perhaps have a certain regard for each other, but he keeps popping up in my mind. Is this a sign of something to come or just lack of control on my part? I feel good when I think about him but don’t want to be obsessed. I am a much married woman, and happily married, but from a culture where many do not date before marriage. I am asking this question after reading your post and wondering if this is one of the mysterious, inexplicable ways in which the feel-good factor is manifesting. Thanks.
Thank you for this! I started focusing on the awesome in my life and today found out I was getting money back from my tax return instead of owing, my husband brought flowers home and I have a job interview after no calls for over two months!
And all I did was a simple list of the good things in my life. Just that change of focus and the floodgates opened! Happiness now is the key, there is always something in your life to appreciate and feel joy about.
Hi Luna
Thanks for your comment and for sharing your experience. That shift of focus is key and there are so many ways to achieve that–the listing of good things is one of the most helpful I think. It makes you realize we have been creating the whole time but we just weren’t focusing in the most ‘manifesting-friendly’ way. It really can be that easy when we let it! Congrats on all your great manifestations and I am sure there are many more to come!
It’s so much easier and lighter to work from a place of optimism. It makes our energy dynamic, like a wave we can ride. Gratitude and positivity will get this process going.
Hi Janette
Thanks for your comment and I love what you said about it being a wave…great way to look at it. The energy just moves you forward smoothly and easily.
Can obsession hinder our manifestation?
What if i obsess over something but feel good each time I think about it as it helps me to visualize?
Hi Ragini
Obsession implies a strong attachment to something specific, and yes, that could possibly hinder a manifestation because when we are really intent on manifesting something or someone very specific, we are trying to control the ‘how’ of our manifestation, and it can block other things showing up that would actually be a better match. If you truly feel good thinking about this thing, that is fine but just do your best to remain open. Maybe the thing your mind is fixed on will show up or maybe what you want will come in another form. That openness will never be a bad thing.
I get your point. But I’m certain about something that I want to manifest. All I do is give it good vibes each time I think of it and believe that I will get it since it is meant for me. I am attached to that in a good way. But does that imply that I might not get it as it is too specific?
Also, doesn’t being open to something else mean that I am doubting what I truly want?
Hi, So I have been your blog and LOA has really been working, how do avoid the feeling of desperation when it is very important?
I loved it…it became a soothing balm and solutions to what I got stuck.. Thank you
You are very welcome Susree!
I came upon this blog by accident (I wanted a name for that feeling MJ described) and this popped up. I have been following this journey for approximately 4 years now. There has been many things I have manifested, with what I can only class as miraculous speed. The “stuff” I really want, always eluded me. Thank you for breaking down the process in your blog. It seems so clear to me now, the things I manifested, were just a passing thought, that came as easily as breathing, with no adverse or favourable feelings attached. Where as the things I put a lot of visualising and meditation into, eluded me. Obviously because they came from feelings of want and lack, which meant I was getting more of the same. ‘Forcing” myself to feel happy for a future that hadn’t happened yet , blinded me to the happiness I could be feeling right now if I focused on the trees and not the dirt.
Thank you.
Hi Sam
Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment and sharing your experience. I am sure a lot of people can relate–I know I can! I love what you said especially at the end–we miss out on all the ways we can cultivate joy in our life now, the things to be happy about now. And LOA 101, we will naturally attract more things that will give us these feelings, that will reflect this energy back to us.
Kelli, wow, this is just what I was looking for. I see the date is 2017 which is 4 years ago. Good content lives on the internet. I have seen so many changes since I started on this journey 1 year ago. I’ve struggled to understand the whole thing. I have manifested so many amazing things in this last year just by changing my thoughts. I’ve decided not to complain, to be thankful, encouraging, and look for the better thought. I’ve done some really important work on “not judging” others, and overall I feel more content and happy than I have in years. I have some bigger things I’ve been “trying” to manifest and have felt some serious disappointment over it not happening yet. Your post was exactly what I needed to read. I feel a sense of freedom reading this. I feel that I can let go of these “big” things and just look to having a great life full of love, contentment, joy, and peace! When these things come, it will be right on time! Thank you again.
Hey Mary
Thanks so much for your comment and kind words. I’m so glad the post was helpful. You are right–you can totally let it all go. Focus within and clean house there of any negativity, attachments, fears, etc…and that deep energetic transformation cannot help but be mirrored back to you in countless, powerful ways. The ‘wanting’ doesn’t serve any useful purpose from energy perspective–the mind doesn’t quite get that.
