Podcast#154: Law of Attraction: Managing Energy with Anxiety, Depression and Other Strong Emotion

Managing energy can seem more daunting with certain emotional states, and it surely can be. But addressing them from an energetic perspective is very similar to other ‘ick’, at least based on my own experience.

  1. Very timely for me. I’m about to move into a new apartment next month, and while everything is great on the surface (it’s a beautiful place, my finances are in order, etc.) the WEIRDEST thing happened: I started having obsessive thoughts about how to decorate it. It got to the point where I couldn’t think about anything else. So to try to fix it, I spent the whole weekend drawing up plans and making appointments with interior designers, and that still didn’t make me feel better. Finally, this morning, I felt like I could take a step back and look at what’s really going on. I don’t have it all figured out yet, but I DO know that furniture isn’t the answer 🙂

    1. Hey Devinne
Thanks for your awesome comments as always. I think this experience is a great example of how we have these ‘deeper’ issues that aren’t ever really ‘fixed’ by the external manifestations–our finances can improve, we can get a great relationship, etc…which shows our energy has obviously changed in certain ways since we can let these things in–perfect vibe never required– but there is more general ‘stuff’ that still seeps through no matter what and is very far removed from our circumstances so any outside change no matter how big or great won’t transform it. And yes, you’re right…furniture won’t fix it! I have no doubt you’ll get to the bottom of it and for now, don’t feel pressure to pinpoint the exact cause or transform the feelings. Just let them be with detached observation and they won’t bother you as much and you’ll remain in a better headspace to see what they are showing you.
