Embracing a teaching like the law of attraction can be life-changing, but this knowledge often creates pressure to make changes in your energetic state that might not be sustainable or possible, given where you are now. Being more gradual actually makes things go a lot faster.

Podcast #111: Law of Attraction: Slow and Steady Wins the Race

Slow and steady indeed wins the race. This is where all of our power lies. Not in speed or forcing or pushing, which are all fear-based energies. But on relaxation, clarity and calm patience. Great wisdom here as always.

Hi Ryan
It all really does come down to fear doesn’t it?
Hello Kelli,
This one’s a savage 🙂
Indeed being a tortoise in this hybrid world is quite good enough. One can observe all the things which is going around them
and then can accordingly act to it. Its good to catch up the pace but traveling in with a huge pace will surely not going
to help us at all.
I love to be tortoise in this modern world, and plan my moves after watching all the things carefully.
Thanks for the share.
Shantanu.
Hi Shantanu
I loved your comment and your advice about being observant of what is happening around you!
Hi Kelli,
Great post. I think slow and steady especially helps so we can really think about what we want and not rush into anything we thought we wanted. Could this also translate to being so close to manifesting something you want, but it’s just taking its time/it is a mini manifestation to something greater? It is hard to take it slow and be patient but if you know you are one step closer that always helps me.
Hi Bridgette
Thanks for your comment and I am so glad you enjoyed it. I really liked what you said about allowing for time to figure out what we really want. This is really good advice because we tend to get very attached to things our mind focuses on pretty much immediately and why put ourselves through all the torture for something that might not even be what we really want! As for your question, there really is no definitive, objective evaluation of why something is the way it is, how close we are to something happening, what a manifestation means, etc…It is all very personal so it is always helpful to evaluate your current situation and see what is coming up for you personally, what things mean to you, how they are making you feel, etc…
Hi Kelli,
I just discovered your blog this morning after googling ‘self-esteem, worthiness and deserving’ and you can back as the #1 hit. Your blog post on that subject was spot-on. This podcast was so helpful. Sometimes I get a lump in my throat when I am affirming or setting intentions and I have identified it as my old companion, Fear. I’ve been looking for a particular source of the fear, but as I listened to you I realized that the fear comes up when I am forcing an idea that I suspect and want to be true, but I am not yet quite convinced is true. I can see where when I push too fast or too hard, the unconscious mind (the repository of all my faulty beliefs) puts on the brakes using the painful emotion of fear. This is a mini ‘ah-ha’ moment, so thank you!
Hi Jacklyn
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave such a nice comment and I am so happy to hear you enjoy my content and find it helpful. The idea of taking it slow energetically can seem strange to the mind and undesirable since it is so impatient for the change, but when looking at things from an energetic perspective and not an action-based one, it makes sense how this more gradual shift would actually be the more beneficial way to go. I love ‘ah ha’ moments…always big shifts there!
