When working with a teaching like the law of attraction, there can be a tendency to always be looking to the future, thinking of all the stuff we don’t have now, and how much better we will feel when we have it.
Nothing wrong with wanting whatever we want, but we make it really hard to enjoy the journey of manifesting, to enjoy now. All our ‘feeling good’ can have an ulterior motive of just trying to get stuff.
Listen in for some thoughts on why you must enjoy the journey as much as you can–and no it’s not just about the fact you are after feelings, so you should find a way to feel them now. It’s about so much more that will aid your manifesting.
Podcast #31: Law of Attraction: It’s All About the Journey…Really

It’s great to hear your voice again Kelli! Really been missing you lately. I have to say I wasn’t surprised to read Ryan’s post. I actually had the feeling a few weeks ago of you guys booking a flight out of there sooner than later. You stuck it out way longer than I would have.
Although hearing about the dog situation would have pushed me to stay a bit longer. But under the circumstances you guys were living with, I totally give you both props!
Your podcast felt so relaxed. I’m guessing there is a sense of relief that’s come with being back in civilization again. I’m happy to hear you made the decision to cut it short. Of all things, no internet! I couldn’t do that. I’m intrigued to see what kinds of insights you’ve gained or what continues to unfold from your experiences there.
What Ryan has experienced by basically relaxing and taking a break is incredible! I’m totally inspired from that. I hope he’s on the mend and you both enjoy your new sit much better than the last!
I love what you said about the journey, because it’s so true. Plus going back to the basics. I’ve really tried to take that approach with most things in my life. How can I strip back all the complications and make “this” whatever it is more simple. I just love that word, simple. I’m so tired of complication, thinking too hard, too much or making things too complicated. And I love the idea with the cards. Thinking now of getting some myself. This was perfect timing! Just as I’m writing out my hopes and dreams for the new year. 🙂
Lots of love to you both.
Hi Corin!
Good on you for making stuff super simple. Goodness knows it feels tough to go from complex to simple as ego plays games but we can do it, and you are doing it. Awesome. As for the pull back and Kelli’s fab podcast it is, truly, about the moment, the journey, appreciating it, having as much fun as possible in it and outsourcing all the destinations and stuff and outcomes to the Universe. The house sit and my experiences there REALLY taught me that 😉
Neat to see that you had an inkling we’d be on our way; you sensed it on an energetic level plus, we seemed certifiable to stick around for 6 weeks I guess given the conditions and, the lack of clarity the homeowner had. Oh well. Fab and horrifying experience for me LOL. Thanks for sharing!
I can only imagine what a relief it is to be out of that situation. I don’t know how you guys toughed it out as long as you did. Let alone to even brave those circumstances. At 2-3 weeks I probably would have been done. Hats off to you both!
Hey Corin
Thanks so much your comment and aren’t you sweet. That sit was such an interesting manifestation and so many things were mirrored back to me. I think my post tomorrow will delve a bit more into it. You are right about that sense of relaxation…having been in a situation that was far from relaxing, you don’t realize how little things can make you feel so much better. The first time I took a hot shower, I was in absolute heaven. He is definitely feeling better and we are in a major state of gratitude right now…hope it lasts, but unlikely ;). I like that word too, and it is something I have been thinking a lot about as well. We do overcomplicate things…we just can’t help it sometimes.
Lots of love to you too
