A teaching like the law of attraction makes us particularly interested in the tools and techniques portion of the transformation process. Today I discuss my favorite tool, the one I believe trumps them all.

Podcast #126: Law of Attraction: My Favorite Manifesting Tool

How incredibly annoying and absolutely freeing. So fascinating though; moving forward, into each day, as your awareness expands you get to feel specifically what you see is stopping you. Or, what stopped you. Then when you feel it, and keep choosing the fun direction, awareness expands even more, you have more fun and do more from love, and less from fear. Being the first listener to this podcast, I give it a hearty thumbs up, Batchoy Baby..
Ryan
I like what you said about choosing the better feeling options and letting that expand…that just helps further edge out what isn’t serving us.
I just recently found your blog/page and I really really love the way you explain all the facets of LOA. I read a lot of different blogs as well as listening to podcasts and I’m hooked on yours. I felt like this podcast in particular hit home for me. I’ve been practicing a ton of different techniques as well as journaling like crazy to strengthen my intentions, work through my beliefs etc. I’m feeling stagnant lately but I’m being patient because I know it can take time. After listening to your podcast I realized I haven’t been nearly as focused on “awareness” as I should be. Hopefully this will set a shift into motion for me.
Hey Mandy
Thanks so much for your comment and I am so glad you are enjoying the content so much. I got a bit of a ‘hit’ on the ‘like crazy’ part there. Just be careful with all the tools and techniques…they certainly have their place and can be helpful but just remember in and of themselves, they can’t make anything happen for you. Creating from energy is different than creating from action, with the latter maybe producing some sort of result eventually if you keep ‘doing.’ Doesn’t work like that with energy. As long as the tools are making you actually feel better in some way, they are serving their purpose. If they aren’t doing that, then don’t be afraid to pull back. Getting too caught up in that part of the process can actually work against us if we aren’t careful. So just be aware of that in particular.
I love how you have this incredible ability to make something that could be so overwhelming so simple. I found this podcast to be very empowering. In order to be aware you need to slow down and be present, and these are things I have been trying to work on.
I like your comment to Mandy where you say that creating from energy is different than creating from action. This is something I am trying to become more aware of as I know I love a well defined to do list to follow.
Hi Rachel
Thanks so much for your comment and I am so glad you found the podcast helpful. Slowing down and being present is so great for our energy, and helps curtail all the thoughts that constantly undermine the energy we are working to build. In the ‘now’ everything is always okay. Switching from action to energy is definitely a process, and sometimes we have to go through stages of seeing the action not bearing fruit until we let ourselves try a different way.
Hi, Kelli! What kind of visualization would you suggest if I need certain amount of money for important goal like going to university? If I use the letter to the Universe from Melody Fletcher, which aspects would you suggest to be emphasized while writing for maximum results? I’m organized person and like to find the exact frequency in no time by focusing on the right elements. Thank you!
I have seen you leave this question on several posts and I have already answered it on one of them…I think the one about creating if other people aren’t ‘on board’
Hi Kelli!
Interesting information. But what about if a belief feels like a “fact” or possibly even is? 🙁
I’m 42 years old woman, I feel I’m not attractive anymore like when I was twenty-something. Maybe my belief is: I CAN’T be. I don’t feel good about myself, especially the weight. Being young, everything was easy…and now, you just wake up one morning with wrinkles and middle-age spread 🙂 And I am a person, how tries to eat healthy and do pretty much excersise! But still…
And I’m not so fertile, like I used to be (a fact, probably).
I feel I’m unable to lose weight, that it’s impossible to be so slim and fit like I used to be. I believe it’s some “biological fact”. I am not vain or superficial. But seems it is difficult for me to accept myself as I currently am. I think I am generally positive and grateful, being alive and healthy is awesome in itself! I think if I “accept” myself, I will never change (improve). I also feel men (potential partners, I don’t have one) choose/prefer, younger, prettier, more fertile women. This makes me feel especially anxious and discouraged. Doesn’t love/relationships belong to everyone?
What are your thoughts?
Here is very much of my awareness, but I feel it almost magnifies the pain, does not release it/these beliefs.
Hi T
Can only go very general here as speaking with you one on one would be the only way to really dive into all these things. 1. Sometimes your mind isn’t ‘wrong’ about things, it just isn’t the WHOLE story. Yes, there are men out there around your age that want someone younger, that look a very specific way, etc…but not all men feel that way. When we are in alignment with the things we would like to see in our life, they will come. The onus is on us to choose which thoughts we entertain and which ones we reject. 2. Understanding the role of energy can be harder in certain respects, such as physical issues like weight and health, but having personally worked on both of these issues through energy, I can attest to how that work aided in physical transformation. 3. Acceptance of where you are now is not resignation, it just about giving up the fight,. You can keep trying to make change from a space of dissatisfaction about where you are now, but from this space, even if we get what we want, we tend not to feel better anyway because the the ‘thing’ we are trying to change is not the actual reason we are upset–it is the story and meaning we have assigned to the circumstance.
I so needed to hear this! I’ve been doing the constant vigilance thing with my thoughts and beating myself up because of all the negativity that’s still present, but it’s good to know that my energy is still changing as I’m noticing these thoughts and feelings. I feel like this is a turning point for me because I will probably feel good when I notice a negative thought from now on instead of feeling like I’m failing if that makes sense haha.. thank you so much !
Hi Jeanna
I am so glad you found it helpful. Awareness lets us know where we stand and we are then in a space to choose whether we want to keep thinking that way. And observing the ‘negative’ without judgment is key as well because it’s not really the thoughts per se that cause the issue, but the ‘charge’ we give them when we buy into them. What you said makes perfect sense!
Thanks!
Suddenly I got deeper awareness: I think my beliefs really really are;
-relationships are some kind of a competition, where I need to “win”, be “better” than other women, in order to “get” a man, it others words being unrealistically perfect.
– It is always about other people (men) and their “wants”, their needs, what they want, their preferences, and I should somehow try to adapt, mold, strive for it. Rarely I stop to think, what is that I want and need?
– I am hardly ever lovable or “relationship material”, just as I am, in any given moment, just as myself, regardless of what I am/am not, have/do not have.
I’ve often thought; beliefs don’t live as “beliefs” in our minds, they live (we perceive) them as the “truth”. Maybe that’s why it is so difficult to challenge, get rid or them? 🙂
The beliefs I wrote, they seem now incredibly stupid, even toxic. Amazing, that I have believed them so many years, looks like I have some “work” to do with them :/
By the way, I think it could be a good blog post, about the health and weight themes!
Another awesome, and timely posy Kelli! Thank you! I have been feeling very pissed off, that I am not ‘getting’ it, or having any changes! Beating myself up badly! Realising that my awareness is the start, has really given me so much pleasure, in myself! Keep going Pam!
Hi Pam
Thanks so much for your comment and I am so glad you enjoyed the podcast. Let yourself feel all that…good to get it out of your system so you can recalibrate. When we don’t the desire to rid ourselves of the negative emotion remains the primary driver for our conscious creation ‘efforts’ which just means we are still focusing on and fighting against the present circumstances. Things can still change this way, but it’s much more harder and unpleasant than it has to be!
Hi, Kelli! Is the feeling of nostalgy and sadness of moving from home just a manifestation of resistance? Wouldn’t this process be easier if we had no contradiction beliefs like fear of change, future, letting go, independent life?
Yes, everything would be easier with a total lack of resistance and openness, but you’re human and you’ll probably have a range of feelings. It’s okay and don’t stress about it. Do your best to just focus on how you feel without getting too caught up in analyzing this teaching from an intellectual level and getting definitive answers about everything(your questions you leave on the blog always show me this is what you are really focused on)…would be nice if we could do that but it just doesn’t work that way. That is probably the biggest form of resistance we encounter–trying to ‘understand’ it from a logical perspective.
This is so thought provoking! My favorite manifestation tool is a pen and paper. After I write what I want to manifest I also like to write down my problems as well. Sometimes they are limiting beliefs that I did not realize I had. Other times they are legit problems. I find that when I write down these problems by subconscious automatically finds ways around them for me.
Hi Dean
Thanks for your comment and sharing your helpful tools. I am a fan of writing things down too…good way to get things out of your head and get clarity. And like you experienced, just having the intention to find a solution or change the belief sets that exact thing in motion.
Hi, Kelli! I was always wondering how people with health anxiety (hypochondriacs) don’t get ill?
I don’t know…can’t ever tell what is really, truly going on in someone’s energy from the outside, and it is possible the fears underlying the sickness are manifesting in other ways that probably feel very similar. Just because we consciously worry about a specific scenario, doesn’t mean that it is guaranteed to manifest. I wouldn’t concern yourself with these sorts of questions if you can help it, which seem to be the only type of questions you seem to ask ;). They really can’t be answered to the satisfaction of your mind, which is always looking for the logical explanation that it can make sense of. As long as we keep trying to understand spiritual laws and principles from the level of intellect and logic, we’ll never make any real progress because our mind will never get the sorts of explanations that will allow you to continue the journey without it fighting you every step of the way. If I can lovingly make a suggestion to you…GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD!!!
Oh my heavenly goodness, Kelli!
I listened to this podcast with curiosity… “Nah, Kelli CANNOT be talking about TOOLS! Not my Kelli”” 😉
And then…. AWARENESS!
“Yes, yes, YES, my sista’!”
Awareness is the best “tool,” ever.
I’ve been going through a particularly prolonged period of poop (say that 5x fast).
Of course, the good ole’ mind had returned to the old default of focusing on the unwanted.
Can I hear a “No, Duh?”
Hearing this (and your other recent, alway fabulous podcasts) hit the re-set button for me.
Time to re-train that errant little puppy!
Again.
And again and again and again….
Love your message, as always…
Cheers,
Denise
Hey Denise
Love every word of this comment. I tricked ya with the title right? 😉 I know it might suck to be where you are now, but if even just a little part of you can see the value in what you may be experiencing now, it can take the sting out. Some of my best energetic shifts were preceded by these more prolonged periods of not feeling so great. I know these perspectives can seem annoying to our mind when we are feeling like this, but having worked with you so much, I know you probably embrace this perspective more wholeheartedly than most would. You are going deep my friend and this is exactly what helps people really operate at that higher vibe more consistently, the vibe where things happen effortlessly and the really big, awesome stuff can make its way in! Sending you big, big hugs!
