There can sometimes be a bit of misunderstanding about law of attraction. Many believe it is all about thinking something and then having that thing happen. There is some truth to that, but it is a bit more complex than that.
Just thinking about something does not necessarily mean that exact thing will happen, either instantly or at some point in the future. This is kind of good when you think about it…I don’t know about you, but I have some pretty weird thoughts run through my mind sometimes. Our thoughts are actually manifestations of our energy in a given moment.
What we think certainly plays a role, but the real core of attraction is what we feel and believe. Whatever we experience is a match to our predominant beliefs and feelings. We will experience things that feel like whatever we are feeling now, that reflect whatever beliefs we are harboring now.
So, this means that in order to get the stuff we want, we have to be a match for it feeling-wise. We have to feel now—at least most of the time—how we would feel if we had what we wanted. Many take this to mean pretending, and while it may feel like that sometimes, that is actually not what you are doing. You are actually focusing your energy in a way that makes you feel good. You are adopting a perspective that genuinely makes you feel better now. You are turning your attention towards the good things in your life, and shoring up that positive energy.
This whole ‘acting as if’ thing can be tough sometimes. We can’t help but notice the absence of the things we want. There is a part of us that thinks constantly focusing on what is missing and worrying that it isn’t here and how to get it, is the key to bringing it into our lives. But, oh how wrong we are. We are unhappy with things as they are now, and we feel quite justified in feeling like crap. We get a kick out of arguing for our anxiety, fears, anger and other yuck; we hold onto our stories for dear life.
Becoming a match now to what we want can be particularly challenging when it comes to attracting abundance, which many people link to money and nothing else, but actually represents so much more. You may think it is just money you want, but it is so much more than that. You want your cup of awesomeness to be overflowing in every aspect of your life.
It can be hard to realize this though, because when we come from a space where we may not be killing it financially, it is very easy to pinpoint lack of money as the cause of all our discontent; if we just had more money, everything will fall into place. And because we feel this lack of money so strongly in our everyday experience, getting into the feelings that make us a match for more cash, and really shifting the beliefs that keep it from us, can feel like a tall order.
Because this issue can be so emotionally charged, people get really anxious to get things moving in a better direction, and can get a bit impatient. The most powerful tips for helping shift our mindset often elicit eye rolls and exasperated sighs.
All that ‘feeling good’ bullshit won’t pay the Visa bill you might say. We are so used to having certain things that we feel entitled to them, and giving true thanks seems corny—yeah, yeah, I have food on the table and roof over my head, big deal. We become indignant when it is suggested we shift our perspective, and we hold onto our money stories for dear life, pointing out all the things that are wrong right now, and how we are totally justified in feeling the way we do.
Listen, I get it. I have been there. I know you want some magic tool that will just make all your problems disappear—that is why we jump from program to program, book to book, in some desperate search for information, all the while lamenting that nothing ‘works.’
It would be awesome if there was some guaranteed action you could take that would fix everything—imagine you could just kill all your limiting beliefs by simply clapping your hands five times while hopping on your right foot? But nothing can magically change your predominant belief systems and feelings. All tools are a means to an end, and can help you get into a better feeling space, but the only thing that will truly create the shifts is you making a decision that this will be so, and that you are willing to start doing things differently energetically speaking. You have to be willing to operate differently than you have been if you want things to be different..no two ways about it.
You might not be able to shift your entire belief system and predominant feelings overnight..that’s fine. But, this doesn’t mean that you can’t start seeing changes relatively quickly. You would be amazed at what you can start letting in when you really make that conscious effort to realign your energy towards what you want, instead of remaining stuck in the muck of what you don’t.
You can start feeling abundant now, you can start feeling now like you would if your financial situation looked more like you want it to. Here are a few ways to do that.
Pay Attention to All the Manifestations that Show You are Lining Up with More Abundance
Like I have said before, aligning with the specific things we want can sometimes be a process. A full-fledged manifestation might not fall right into our laps as soon as we decide we want something. There may be some focusing and shifting of beliefs that needs to happen. As our energy starts to gel more with what we want, we will start seeing some proof of this in our outside experience.
And instead of seeing these experiences in this manner, we tend to crap all over them because they are not good enough, or are not exactly what we want. And then we kind of throw ourselves out of alignment all over again. We still may experience some manifestations, but we slow things down.
So, don’t dismiss the 10 bucks you find on the street because it won’t do crap to help you pay off your credit card debt. Don’t dismiss the loan you got from your parents because you think it doesn’t count as a ‘real’ manifestation.
Don’t forget to acknowledge how awesome it is when you manifest something for free that you would typically acquire with money, like lunch paid for by a friend. In a few days I am going to Bali for four months, and in exchange for taking care of some pets, Ryan and I get to live in a beautiful house absolutely free—a house that would probably command a pretty decent fee as a vacation rental.
It is fine if you set your sights on a particular manifestation, like getting more sales or clients, or getting together enough money to make a particular purchase. But, don’t forget to pay attention to all the stuff that you are attracting that shows your money vibe is raising higher and higher. Don’t crap all over all this stuff, all the while lamenting what you want isn’t here yet. What you want is so much more than whatever you have in mind now, whether it is paying down debt, saving up enough money to buy a house, travel, or build your business.
When you see these manifestations for what they are, and really let yourself feel the awesomeness of them, you will start attracting oodles of other things that match these warm fuzzies of abundance.
Don’t Dismiss ‘Just Enough’
In my experience, a lot of people get into this whole manifesting money game because they are tired of having ‘just enough.’ Their expenses are paid, no major financial pressures, no real sacrificing, but they just want more. Perhaps they want to pad their savings, or be able to indulge more in travel or other fun stuff.
Absolutely nothing wrong with this. Feeling like we have the funds to do as we please is a pretty great feeling. But, when you really think about it, we actually just want enough, enough to do all the things we want to do, enough to have our bills taken care of, enough so we have a nice cushion. The idea of ‘more than enough’ is kind of a fear-based thought. We want ‘more than enough’ in case something really bad happens.
Again, nothing wrong with wanting more money, but don’t be so quick to dismiss a situation where you currently have enough to meet your financial needs—it is pretty great if you can make your mortgage payment, buy food and get your bills paid on time. Even though it kind of stinks to have to dip into savings to pay for an unexpected car repair, the fact the money is there to cover it, is something to feel good about.
A shift in perspective can do wonders for making you feel more abundant now. Instead of lamenting you have ‘just enough,’ bask in the awesome feeling of having ‘enough’ to take care of all your needs now. Know that whatever you may want down the line, you will have ‘enough’ to get all of those things, whether it is the trip, the house, or whatever else. You have ‘enough’ now and you will have ‘enough’ in the future. Stop judging the amount of money you make, and comparing it to other people.
When we are vibrating a feeling of what we have now not being enough, no matter how much more money you attract, you will never feel like it is enough. When you lament about having ‘just enough’ it is likely you will attract more expenses right along with any additional money that makes its way into your orbit.
Don’t worry that feeling good about the amount of money you have now cutting off the flow of more…that is not how it works. A vibe of abundance now will just bring you more of it, whether in the form of money directly, people giving you things and countless other ways. The Universe isn’t going to check in on you feeling good now, and conclude you no longer want the cash.
Feeling more abundant and happier overall, even if you don’t have all the money you thought you needed to feel that way, won’t keep it from you. The Universe won’t bring you all sorts of great things, but then keep the money from you, if more money is part and parcel of your vision of living abundantly and happily.
Simply dropping that ‘just’ can do wonders for your mindset and getting into those feelings conducive to bringing you more money and other good stuff.
Develop True Appreciation for What You Have Now
Feeling appreciation for all the good things we have now is one of the best ways to line up with more money and other forms of abundance. Feeling happy with what we have now creates an energy that just opens up the door for more awesomeness. Again, don’t be afraid developing a positive perspective on your life as it is now will cancel your order with the Universe.
But, when I say feeling appreciation, I mean true appreciation. I don’t mean giving lip service to gratitude, but then not actually feeling jack squat when you are rattling off your list of things for which you are claiming to be happy you have.
And just like you want to steer clear from ‘just enough,’ be careful not to frame your appreciation by saying things like ‘at least I have ‘insert thing most of us take for total granted here.’ Like ‘just’, this type of phrasing minimizes what you have now. So, it’s not: at least I have a nice home, at least my bills are all paid, at least I have money to make my car payment. It is: I have a nice home, my bills are paid, my car is paid.
And when I talk about appreciation for raising your money vibe, I am not just talking about things related to your finances. I am talking about everything in your life that is good, like your supportive spouse, your health, your friends, living in a nice area, and anything else in your life that contributes to your well-being.
But, there is always one thing I like to remind people of when they begin expressing true appreciation for all they have now…be on the lookout for guilt creeping in. There can sometimes be the tendency to feel like wanting more is selfish or that you should just be happy with having the basics covered. Look at all the starving children in Africa, I should just be content with how things are now, I have it so good, etc…. You might feel like you are asking too much, or issues of deserving creep in…who am I to want so much more than this?
You are allowed to want whatever you want. You are entitled to max happiness. You are here to thrive, not just survive. Don’t play small or shrink back…go for the gusto. But, even though it is totally cool to have you eye towards more, don’t crap all over everything you have now that is already pretty great.
In Closing…
It is really easy to focus on all that is wrong with our lives, especially when it comes to our money issues. Our negative feelings are strong, and have a lot of pull behind them..we can get sucked in deep the second we start feeling them. But, you have to realize you have a choice regarding where you put your focus. You get to decide how you feel about your life. You get to decide whether you will keep telling yourself the same story or be willing to craft a new one.
Listen, you may not fully trust in LOA in every fiber of your being…I don’t know if there is anyone who has truly made that total shift from just getting it in theory. And for this reason, it will be a challenge sometimes to shift your focus; you will get caught up in the crap. You may not always feel great. This is all normal and expected.
You don’t have to achieve some perfect vibration to start letting more money and other forms of abundance into your life. But, you will have to make a concerted effort at managing your energy as best you can—even just a few minutes at a time of feeling trust, faith and that everything will be okay, can get things moving in the right direction quite rapidly.
We are always after a feeling, and we can step into feelings anytime we want. What feelings do you think having more money will give you? How can you feel them now?
Your mind is going to fight you on feeling better now, even though you still don’t have what you want. It will come up with plenty of compelling reasons why you should feel like crap; it will remind you to look at your immediate reality, and convince you that all you should be doing now is worrying, obsessing, and finding ways to ‘fix’ the problem.
Sometimes you are going to give in, but you must be willing to at least try to let go of the story you keep telling yourself, of the justifications for feeling badly. If you are not willing to do that, this work is going to be frustrating as hell. Progress will be slow and painful.
Attracting money is no different from attracting anything else, but it can feel very different because of all the hang ups we have around it. But, they can be worked through. Changing our beliefs and feelings around a particular area of life is an option always available to us.
Your Turn….
What did you think of this post? Did any of this advice resonate with you? How are you doing with your money manifestations? What tips would you add for feeling more abundant in your immediate reality? Looking forward to your comments.

Hi
Love this post, but just a quick question. I consciously started using LOA 3 years ago, had some great results the 1st year, 1.5 years ago I manifested an amount of money that enabled me to leave my job and start fresh. I really loved this new found freedom so I decided to work on attracting more money to maintain my new reality. Fast forward To now, I am broke, debt collectors are chasing me (brand new experience that one) and no opportunities are coming my way. I believe in LOA because random no longer makes sense to me and I know the universe can bring me anything I want, but I’m now 1.5 years later struggling to get past the vibration Of confusion and being perplexed that I no longer have enough to pay my bills, run my car , pay my mortgage. So, since working on my abundance vibration, I’m in the worst financial mess than I have ever been in the 41 years, I’ve been here
Hi Louise
It would be hard to say exactly what caused these manifestations because it can be challenging to discern what other people’s manifestations mean to them without a bit more information, and even then, the actual person can only know the true depth of what is happening.
But, there are a couple of things I would say here. The first is to examine how this ‘reversal of fortune’ feels to you, and pay attention to everything that comes up, particularly any memories..no matter how irrelevant they may seem to money, they are important because they match the frequency of how this situation feels so there is something there. That you were able to manifest that successfully shows you are capable of doing so again, and to experience the flipside in such a dramatic fashion leads me to believe you have a really strong energy, it all comes down to applying it in the right direction. I suspect there are some big life lessons here for you that once you start exploring more deeply, will really lead to big, positive shifts, not only financially, but in other areas as well. For example, perhaps this situation was there to show you how you can bounce back from anything, and that no matter how outside appearances seem, you can always turn things around.
This situation probably threw you for a loop so it might feel challenging to raise your vibration back up, and that is understandable. My first piece of advice for improving your overall energy may seem like basic finance 101, but since how we feel is crucial to the process, you want to do whatever you can to feel better. If you have not been proactive in dealing with creditors and explaining your situation, I would highly recommend doing that. I remember many years ago when I fell behind on some payments, I contacted my credit card company and let them know I would work on catching up on my minimum amount owed…even though I was behind, they didn’t report my late payments to the credit reporting companies. They didn’t call my house either.
The second thing I would do is practice shifting your focus to the bills that can be paid..your brain will fight you on this, but we have no other option than to start feeling better now, and this will help you do that. Sure, having all our bills paid is the more ideal situation, but we always get to choose how we feel. The third thing is the willingness to accept there is a solution, that the money situation will improve, even if you can’t see how that would be from this vantage point. This simple willingness to acknowledge can create a sense of relief, and relief is huge in shifting energy in a better direction. That relief makes room for inspiration and solutions that are usually not available when we are in a lower energetic state.
Thank you so much for the response. I agree my energy is strong cos I have bounced back from a lot of situations before. I think deep down I know y it’s happened. I grew up poor and so when I started having money from well paid jobs since my middle 20,s I based my worth and everyone’s else worth on their financial status. I no longer do that, I realise now that money isn’t what makes a person special, it just makes their life comfortable. I dismissed people who had less than me, but felt somewhat intimidated by people who had more. This is no longer the case on both counts. So, I think that was about boundaries. Yes, I’ve spoken to my creditors but minimum payment is a struggle right now. I know the universe can change it (for some reason my believe in LOA has grown in this past year and I exactly like who I am now). I’ve had an Almost complete personality change (removed masks) but I’m at the stage where fraustration and boredom is taking over. So, taking money away has helped me enormously HOWEVER, I want it back now!!! Once again thank you for responding
Hi Louise
It sounds like you have a pretty good idea what is happening and it is just a matter of doing some shifting.
Also, another thing I would add that can sometimes be helpful for people is our manifestations aren’t always black and white, as in thinking thoughts about X will make us manifest situations dealing with X. Since we attract experiences that match our current beliefs and feelings, a situation in one area of your life could create fears and other feelings that would affect another area of your life. For example, if someone got divorced and started having fears about the lack of support, being on their own,etc.. they may see a dip in their sales or experience other problems with their business, even if they really didnt’ have any negative thoughts about their business before this.
Hi Kelli,
Thanks for the post! I recognize a lot of what you said here from your call on Monday evening. I’ve been sort of a silent (comment-less) reader of your blog for about 6 months now, having found it from reading Melody Fletcher’s blog. This topic is especially helpful right at the end of the month, days before pay day when my account is looking a little paltry – at least I know I can think about all the good things I spent that money on 🙂
I wanted to mention one other thing you said in the call that really resonated with me – you spoke about how you don’t think of yourself as ever wanting to do a traditional job, and even though some people are perfectly happy with the 9-5 grind, that’s not for you. I believe you called yourself “lazy” – I definitely wouldn’t call you lazy in any sense though, I think you are a manifesting powerhouse!
Anyway, thank you for saying that. I have been really fortunate not to struggle too much with LOA, but one area where I know I have a lot of “stuff” to work through is the societal expectation to have a traditional job and make as much money as you can that way and only count your job income as money that flows to you. I hate to admit it, but I am still a little scared of what would happen financially if I just quit the job that I know I don’t like and have to work hard to be grateful for. It’s hard to trust the universe to provide for you when you feel like you might be walking off a cliff, but reading your blog reminds that I can create the net that will catch me if I put my best feelings towards the creation of it.
So I guess I just wanted to say thanks for all you do, and for keeping me afloat so much of the time, even if you don’t know you are 🙂
Hi P!
Well, so glad to ‘meet’ you, and so happy that my blog has been a source of inspiration and helpful information for your little journey on this mortal coil. You’re right..you can look at all the stuff you were able to do with that money and it can totally shift perspective. We always get to choose..we may not always be compelled to choose the most empowering perspective because our emotions can get the best of us, but the more we practice, the more frequently we are in a good space.
You are certainly not alone with that little dilemma…when you see 99 percent of people doing something a certain way, it can be hard to just totally drop the beliefs that by and large contributed to that way of operating, and adopt a new one with all our heart, no matter how right it feels to us, and how much we get LOA in ‘theory.’
That you are aware of your true feelings is half the battle right there…when we want to truly shift our energy and our belief system, we have to acknowledge where we are right now, and what we are feeling. If you went and quit your job all the while carrying around this belief as your dominant one, the process would be a lot more painful than it has to be. Sure, we can totally take the leap anytime, but we really want to shore up that trust as best we can.
It sounds like you have a pretty good deal of faith in LOA and have had successful manifestations. We all have our areas where our trust is a bit weaker and our fear is a bit stronger, and anything tied to money will be a sensitive area for a lot of us. You sound like you are moving towards what you want quite nicely. Just keep raising your energy, and things will keep unfolding, leading you right to where you want to be.
Sorry, I did ask my question! Any tips on how I get my vibration up and a way to keep it there
I really appreciated this article. You’re hitting on a point that trips so many people up. I think one thing that also helps is considering feeling good as the point of life. We want the money so that we’ll feel good. So why not just skip to feeling good simple because we choose to? This unconditional happiness is ultimately the only kind that is dependable. Once we learn to be happy simply because we choose it, we can’t help but to magnetize all the things we’ve already put into our “wish jar.”But it takes a lot of faith to be able to go “all in” on just feeling good. There is so much brainwashing from our society saying that you need external conditions to justify your happiness, or the happiness isn’t real and you’re just a fool. Articles like this one I think help people to build the faith they need to progress on the path of genuine fulfillment.
Hi Indigo
Thanks so much..so glad you liked the post. You are so right about our ability to choose to feel good now..we are so used to living reactively and letting our outside circumstances constantly determine how we feel. You are so right about it being a challenge to go all in on that mode of operating. It just doesn’t feel ‘right’ even if there is a part of us that resonates with it. I always love how you express your thoughts on these subjects.Very eloquent and always offering great insights.
A timely article, you are right about all the blocks we have around money. I am surprised at how bitter people in the lower income demographic are towards rich people sometimes. No wonder they are stuck in their income bracket, they will never be wealthy if they resent other for having money!
My (our) financial situation is actually quite dire at the moment, and although I have been doing a good job of feeling gratitude and focusing on anything other than the problems, today I am having a bit of a panic attack. Resentment and anger are rising up to come out so I am in a bit of a bad mood and down about things I am normally upbeat about. Even though I know created this, if it were me running the financial show in our marriage I wouldn’t have let it come to this, so it has exposed a few truths to me about my partner. We have to remember that sometimes lack of money is created by us to give us a learning curve. If we had been fine financially I might not have delved into LOA so much or learned to rely on it (as I am now). I feel that the need to master LOA is the only thing keeping me afloat mentally right now, when I might normally have given up and coasted. So I have to ask myself, how is this serving me? When I have learned that lesson perhaps I will be open to letting money back in again. Today I need to focus on feeling my anger and releasing it, and then get on with something that makes me feel good.
Hey Ms. Bunny
You are so right about having to shift our views about people with money if we want to become part of the club.
I know what you are feeling right now is probably all kinds of icky, but it’s good that you are acknowledging it and letting it up. It is one thing to shift our focus away from stuff that creates bad feelings, and another to ignore negative feelings that are already there. We have to find ways to deal with them. Sometimes we can just put our attention elsewhere but when they are strong, we have to let ourselves feel them and see what is up. So you are doing the right thing by doing that.
You are so right about these times providing the gift of increased interest and devotion to LOA…that is exactly what happened with me several years ago when I lost my income overnight and ended up living off credit cards. At that point, I had two options…totally panic and feel awful, or work on shifting my energy and I chose the latter, though I certainly had my moments of not feeling very good at all. You have a really great perspective, and are building your energy and faith in a way that will pay off for you.
A very fascinating and insightful article Kelli. There is a lot there that had not ocurred to me before. The thing that struck me was where you said “We have to feel now—at least most of the time—how we would feel if we had what we wanted”. This is a bit like NLP, isn’t it? NLP is used for all sorts of things but the NLP for health workshop I went to once was about visualizing and feeling how you wanted to be healthwise. Athletes use NLP it to help them excel in their sport. What do you think? Is there any correlation here?
I think it helps to explain too why people with a lot of money still want more money. I’ve never understood before why they can’t be content with what they’ve got. This article makes me look at them in a different light.
Sandy
Hi Sandy
So glad you enjoyed the post. I honestly don’t know too much about NLP but from what I understand, yes, there is a lot of similarity in that you want to recondition your thought patterns, speech, etc…to reflect more of the reality you want to create. The challenge is dealing with our mind that will love to point out all that is ‘wrong’ right now and how you don’t have what you want, but with a little practice on focusing positively on your desired outcomes, this gets easier to deal with.
Money can be tricky..it is totally cool to want to have ample amounts to maximize our freedom and choice, but when we make earning it the sole aim, no amount will ever be enough, nor can we ever achieve any sort of security from X amount of dollars. That has to come from within. I think that once lots of people start consciously working with their energy and learning to enjoy life now, they will probably realize they don’t need as much money as they think they do to be happy. I think we can overestimate how much our current financial troubles are impacting our overall happiness. But, then the amazing thing is, the less we care about the money, the easier it is to let it in!
Hi Kelli,
Bali sounds great and you really lucked out. I hope you and Ryan enjoy it!
I always try to be greatful for what I have and the little things that work out for me even while I’m working towards bigger things. I feel like they all add up and contribute in some manner. Like you said, it’s like a sign that you’re moving in the right direction, your vibration is getting higher.
This is a great post. It teaches to acknowledge your progress so you can get closer to what you want. Great examples too 🙂
~Lea
Hi Lea
Thanks so much for your comment. We are quite excited..got aligned quite nicely for that manifestation! They certainly do add up…it can be hard sometimes to see them for what they are because we can get really focused on the bigger things we are looking to accomplish. So glad you liked it!
Hi Kelli,
I’m so glad you talked about this topic, particularly when it comes to manifesting money. It’s definitely something I’ve been working on and I see ”opportunities’ that are definitely leading in a direction I want to go so I see that as manifestations. This ‘shifting’ or minor manifestations make me excited and give me a feeling of peace that it’s coming and gives me hope. It lets me know it’s working and more is coming – all that I want. And you’re right – it’s not in a way I expected but if we look we see that it’s there. S
I agree that developing that appreciation puts you in the right place. So far, I’ve been feeling better and better as it develops. Can’t wait to see more and appreciate more.
You ask ‘What tips would you add for feeling more abundant in your immediate reality?’ I think just being positive and thankful every day. I have in my iphone scheduled messages to myself to ‘Thank God’ and ‘To Be Grateful.” It reminds me 4-5 times a day and keeps me aware that I have to be appreciative.
Great posts and each post you write helps me in my own journey.
Thanks and I appreciate your wisdom and your info.
Have a good one,
Barbara
Hey Barbara
That is great you are seeing little signposts that show you are going in the right direction. This evidence increases our faith and appeases our brain, which is a very good thing when doing this work because it can fight us a lot. Thank you for sharing that tip..I love it! I am so happy that you are finding my posts helpful for you..when we find materials that really resonate with us, and we stick to them, we can really start changing much more quickly than we think.
I did Abe Hicks 30 day workshop but related all practical exercises to money. On day 5, my mum rang me and said she was sending me 500 Uk pounds because she loved me! The money arrived but it was a lot more than I had expected. It turned out when sending she had added another 100 Uk pounds just because!
It works!
Hi Natalie
Thank you so much for sharing that story..it is a perfect example of what can happen when we just work on changing our energy. Money manifestations are always particularly exciting because we do have more blocks around them, and it is hard to trust, especially when it comes to getting it from unexpected sources.
Hi Kelli,
I have just discovered your blog and wanted to say how much I enjoy your articles. I have been trying to use the Law of Attraction on and off for the last 3 or 4 years – with some success before falling back into old habits again. I have always found it quite difficult to know the best way to get started and nothing I have read online has really helped me to understand exactly how to use it in my daily life. Your blog is by far the most helpful thing I have read on this subject and I find your posts really interesting and easy to follow. I love the real life examples that you write about and you have given me lots of ideas for practical changes that I can make in my own life.
Hey Kara
Thank you so much..so glad you are finding the articles helpful. I can relate to that inconsistency. When I think back to when I first read about it to now, I certainly was not doing this work full bore the whole time. Like you, there were many times when I wasn’t thinking much about it at all, or deliberately working on my energy. I was still creating of course, but just not as consciously.
When we find sources of information that resonate with us, that is one of the most important things for really making shifts because we just click more with what is being said, and we find it easier to apply what we learn practically.
I look forward to chatting with you more through the comments…always feel free to share your insights, experiences or whatever else on here. Just focus on small things you can do to start feeling better, or move away from things that may be dragging you down energetically. Once you do this, you will start seeing shifts and start seeing manifestations. Even if they are small, they will strengthen your trust and motivate you to keep doing the inner work.
Hi Kelli,
This is my first time here and it feels so homie. 😀 I couldn’t help but notice all the lovely traveling pictures you have to the right. That is too cool!
Anyhow back to the post, You are right about what we believe and feel. Our beliefs are at the core of our problems because they have the ability to distort our reality. Here’s the thing that gets me the most about my beliefs. Half of them isn’t base in truth.
And feeling are so over rated. That’s why most relationships doesn’t last. We put this unrealistic expectation on our partner to make us happy. And when they fall short we tell ourselves this relationship isn’t right because it don’t feel right. And we believe it. Feeling are real but that don’t make them necessarily facts.
The best thing to do is what you said, focus on the good things in your life and learn to be content. Then no matter what you’re feeling at the time when you change your thinking your feeling will follow.
Hi Vernon
So glad you enjoyed the post. You are so right about so many of the things we believe not being true at all..they are just a point of view that can be changed anytime we want. We may not be able to shift a belief completely overnight, but over time, we can move away from what is not serving us and causing us pain to beliefs that empower us and make us feel like we have a greater degree of control over our experience, yet, not feeling like we need to control everything. Having faith and trust will take us far.
I agree that we can’t place the responsibility for our happiness on anything outside of ourselves, especially other people …boy will that blow up in our face each and every time! There is great power in feeling good now…it doesn’t mean we can’t still want other things, but that sense of contentment will actually open the door for more to come with greater ease.
Hi Kelli
It is my first time in your blog and I like the fact that your blog is so cool. Love the pics and font too.
The Law of attraction is a wonderful topic that I have to follow for some time. You state abundance comes to our lives when we feel and believe. I agree because there is a wisdom that says that as a man thinks in his heart so is he.
Whatever you believe in your heart does come to you . So thank for sharing such a wonderful topic. Have a nice day.
Hi Ikechi
Thanks so much for your comment. So glad you enjoyed the post and found it helpful. It is so true how powerful our feelings and beliefs are for shaping our reality. When we deliberately shift our attention to what we want, we can see amazing changes.
Kelli,
I’m totally with you on the whole live in the moment and be grateful for what we have. It’s snowing today, so our restaurant is closed, thus, I’m not getting paid. However, I have a roof over my head, I’m warm, I’ve got food in my belly. Electricity, plumbing and I have time to catch up on some of my personal business needs.
Life is great and I am so thankful that I have everything that I have. Things will all come into play. The universe is getting me there one step at a time.

Hi Lisa
So sorry for the delay in replying..I must have overlooked the comment by accident. It sounds like you have the gratitude thing down well. Something that also will help is remembering the restaurant is just one channel through which money can come…obviously it is one of your expected sources and no problem in nurturing it, but always remember our abundance truly comes from Source, whatever that means to each of us.
Hi Kelli
The law of attraction reminds me the famous proverb “love begets love” and businesses rephrased it as “money attracts money”.
Clarifying this quote an expert said here money attracts money does not mean paper currency. It means value that brings more value. For example as you published this wonderful blog post. Now whoever reads it will at least remembers you because of your awesomeness. So it is your brand publicity which otherwise is done with paid marketing.
Topic is already very interesting but your taking it up with a different angle has made it more interesting. You are damn good in adding value in a trash to convert it into a gold.
I can’t speak more truth to appreciate your work so thanks a lot for sharing.
Hi Mi Muba
Thanks so much for your comment. So happy to hear you found the post helpful. I love what you said about value creating more value..that is so true, That is a great point to keep in mind for those in any sort of online venture especially-as we all know, people can get a bit too focused on easy money in the online realm. I do hope that when people read these posts, there is some sort of lasting impression that will want them to keep coming back for more. It is also my hope that there will be at least one take away that they can apply to their own lives.
Thanks again for your kind words!
