And now back to the regularly scheduled programming…

My name is Ryan Biddulph.

I am a former work-a-holic.

I am now a proud lazy bastard.

I was the former Hardest Working Man in the Blog-o-Sphere (says….nobody but me). The current day incarnation of me is akin to a blogging sea slug.

I have FINALLY learned: you can get what you want without working hard for it.

Do Do Leads to Doodoo

I crashed and burned so many times during my career that the FAA has me on their files. I’m a Blogging Lazarus. Left for dead. But I rose again. Like a Blogging Phoenix, emerging from the ashes. Of course, that Phoenix was hosed down.

Fell like a soggy, wet rag, back into the ashes. I won, then lost, then won, then lost. My online career was a big old rubber band, snapping back and forth, laughing like an 80’s movie villain at my stunning ineptitude.

All because I worked like a jackass. Literally. Burros and other beasts of burden use force to get stuff done. Human beasts of burden – who seem to dominate the race – use force to get stuff done.

During the lean days, I blogged from the mindset of a jackass. Literally. And figuratively. If I could outwork my competition (how is this even possible?!?) I would still be a jackass. At the end of the day. But I’d get my booty. Meaning treasure. I’m a married man.

I’d do my do’s. I created a To-Do (or to die) list every day. I did those do’s. Work. Doing. Hard work. Doing. Harder work. Doing. I’d get some stuff (money, notoriety, Thai pandan rolls, etc) then I crashed. And burned…out. I hit more floors in despair than a tomato can in the ring. For folks who aren’t fans of the sweet science, just know I was getting knocked out by life.

It was like the harder I worked, old skool, pre-tattooed Mike Tyson was waiting for me. Being hellbent on bitch slapping me into submission.

The thing is, the jackass/burro/donkey will eventually have a heart attack. Strap on 1,000 pounds. Whip his jack….ass…..send him on his way up a hill with a 35% grade. Eventually, he will drop dead. Because….

Force Negates.

Force negates. Trying hard leads to trying harder and harder, meaning your continual, strained doings lead to a shit storm. Sickness will meet you. Domestic turmoil. You may even lose all your money. And your fame. And your good name.

And even if you appear to be successful, if you work hard, and harder, and harder, you’re living in a constant state of fear….an intense, subtle fear that you will lose it all.
In late 2015 I decided to never, ever, ever, ever, ever work hard again.

A few months later I was featured on three of the most popular blogs on earth – from my niche – all while I worked 1-2 hours weekly. Weekly. Yes, I said “weekly.”

I appeared on Dirty Dick Branson’s blog. Aka Richard Branson’s blog. I popped up on Forbes. I made three cameos on Neil Patel Dot Com. Neil was recognized by President Obama as one of the top young entrepreneurs in America. And the guy couldn’t stop referencing me. Neil. Not Obama. Not yet at least.

I was the laziest, most slothful, relaxed, chill and detached cat I’ve ever been during the one month stretch where I appeared on these world renowned blogs/sites/legendary brands. During one week alone I saw four new income streams pop up. And I only worked 2 hours during that week. WEEK!

I did some epic shizznet without working hard. I was flat out lazy, actually. Like a hound dog who drank four glasses of milk and ate half a whole turkey (google “tryptophan”) on a hot, humid afternoon, I just chilled. I took the easy route.

I proved to myself that if I managed my energy before I did anything, I’d manifest some fun, enlightening experiences. I could be associated with world famous brands while watching pain dry. I could watch sand pass through an hourglass while readers associated the Blogging from Paradise brand with Virgin. And Forbes.

How can YOU get what you want without working hard for it (you did arrive here to get that question answered, right)?

1: Learn How to Manage Your Energy….or Mindless Doing Leads to Doodoo

Mindless doing always led to poopy circumstances. My biggest nightmares were preceded by hard work. My most miraculous breakthroughs were preceded by me managing my energy.

What you do is worthless. Meaning, the act in and of itself is a…..movement. When you see an actor in a movie, you say, “They’re just actors, acting. It’s not real. It’s a movie.”
Ditto with your alleged “Real World” actions. You’re in a movie. His-story. Or Her-story. Or, history.

The doings don’t do anything for you, in and of themselves. Can a blade of grass “do” something, to grow? Can a flower “will” itself to bloom, or “do” something, to grow? Nope. It just is. It is whole and complete. Comes hard-wired with its own instructions. It runs on Divine Auto Pilot.

You’re the blade of grass or flower. You run on Divine Auto Pilot IF you learn how to manage your energy and IF you largely detach from your wicked preoccupation with DOING STUFF.

You will eventually do stuff. But you’ll feel the doing is effortless, and, totally not necessary. You’ll do it as an extra. Or a bonus. It won’t feel like you NEED to do it. It’ll feel like the grass growing itself. Being. On Divine Auto Pilot.

99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of people DO to GET. You will be the rare bird who does for fun. Who does without a purpose other than enjoying the fun of being in a meat suit.

2: Buy into Easy

Richard Branson is the most famous entrepreneur….on earth. He is a happy, joyous, fun-loving dude. Who happens to be worth $5.1 billion dollars.

One of his writers featured me on Dirty Dick’s blog after I sat on my ass for 3 weeks, staring at sloths, acting like sloths, sprinting to and from outhouses, and counting sheep (and the nightly shrieks of God knows what deep in the jungles of Costa Rica).

I bought in to the idea that easy works. If I had fun when I worked/played, and if I primarily did good feeling stuff, that fun, easy, relaxed vibe would spread throughout the Universe, and you betcha I’d let fun people and fun circumstances and fun ideas and yes, that sweet paper (moolah money or scrilla) in.

The easy way exists. Not only that, the Universe prefers easy. You either buy into easy or make things harder on yourself.

As a rule, most people buy into hard. I recently stopped someone in their blogging tracks when they vowed to *work hard* for a few years to *make their blog work.* Good God, no!! I uttered those exact words in response to the hard work declaration.

Whatever you want, wanted you first. How’s that for a mind frack. What you want has always made a beeline for you. Allow it in. The easy way.

Tip

Never ever, ever ever, ever, ever, ever work hard. Never. If you hurry or rush through work, you’re working hard. Stop it. If you NEED TO or HAVE TO get stuff done, you’re working hard. Stop it Either you play easily, or try. Either you act detached, or slave like an oxen in a SE Asian sweat shop. You choose. Choose easy.

3: Buy into the Idea of 24-7, 365 Care

I was a disgusting kid. Because I ate fuzz from my security blankets. Seriously. I’ve no clue why I did it. I just remember pulling on fuzz and eating it, and swallowing it in many cases, as I gradually destroyed my blankies.

When I plowed through a blanket like a colony of termites mowing through a house I got another blanket. I had my blankie with me. Any time I wanted it. I felt safe, secure and cared for 24-7, 365. And look at how I repaid my blankie. By slowing feasting on its fuzzy flesh. What a bastard.

Anyway, whether you had a blankie or doll, you likely had your “go to” symbol for safety, security and care when you were a kid. When you touched it, everything was A-OK.

Now that you’re older you may have foolishly bought into the idea that a paycheck, health benefits, job and 401 K would make everything better, permanently, and that working harder and harder ensures that you’d be taken care of, for good. Courtesy of yourself and your hard work.

Which is a load of shit. Because everything in time and space changes. And since force negates, busting your ass ensures that you’ll need to work harder and harder and more dangerously, working harder and harder creates a force-field which blocks the loving, easy to access, 24-7, 365 to Infinite care the Universe wishes to bring to you.

You have one job in your meat suit: do crap for fun and get the hell out of the way. Get what you want by having fun and surrendering. The Universe is in you, and all life forms, and everywhere, from here to Infinity.

It’s in charge. The General Manager. The Head Honcho. The Big Cheese. The High Roller. The Shot Caller. Insert any gang or mafia related boss reference here. That’s good old Uni.

Accept the idea that this Infinite, Unfathomable Force only does easy, and cares for you, and supports you, and you’ll easily receive care and support all the time. Everything will be OK, all the time. Like when you held your blankie. Except this Rule applies no matter what happens.

Loss is impossible when you’re bathed in care and support. Failure is impossible when an Infinite Force continually cares for you and supports you. No need to work hard when Supply is at your service. Because you no longer need serve yourself. Nope.

Outsource the service. Have fun, have fun, have fun, do what you love doing, and the Universe will use you joyously and even though you’ll appear to be serving others, the ideas of “hard work” and “sacrifice” and all that other monkey mind bullshit will evaporate into the ethers, along with any idea that you are not loved, cared for and supported forever.

I have written 124 eBooks. And I swear to the gods – tossing pepper over my shoulders as I make this pledge – I rarely if ever worked hard during that run.

Enjoy my law of attraction (and other) eBooks here. If you’re sick of working hard, and want to manifest sweet fun experiences from the inside out.
