Several years ago, I busted out a sheet of paper, and wrote down all the components of my most ideal life. It involved traveling the world for as long as I wanted, whenever I wanted, funding it with online sources of income. At the time, I had been doing some work on myself. I was familiar with the law of attraction and had seen some pretty cool results from working consciously with the principles. There was a part of me that knew I was capable of more.<\/span><\/p>\n

But, by and large, my life was still kind of sucky in many ways. I was having a lot of financial problems. My father had died recently, and I was grappling with that. I felt stuck and stagnant. If I was honest with myself, I was not putting in as much effort as I should have been. In short, there was not a damn thing<\/em> <\/strong>about my current reality that suggested anything on that list could materialize. But, I did the exercise as suggested. I just let the desires pour out of me without any censoring. I didn’t base what I thought was possible for my future on what my life experience had been up until this point. It is crucial you do the same when formulating your desires.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over time, things came together, and before I knew it, I was living the life that had once been relegated to just some thoughts on a piece of paper. On my last visit home, I found that paper and everything on it had come true. It was pretty amazing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here I am in my 42nd month of traveling the world. I am penning this post from an ocean-view home in Fiji, where I have been living for free the past four months as a house sitting assignment. My mobile sources of income include freelance writing and coaching services,<\/a> where I help people make all the awesome changes I have made in my own life. I want everyone to know they too can live a life made to order, whatever that means to them.<\/span><\/p>\n
